The Amber Bomb
This fragrance was an absolute blind buy. I received a voucher from eBay and was looking for scents that I could get cheaply with it. "Ambra" intrigued me by name and was almost free for me.
Accordingly, my expectations were quite low. But they were met.
First of all, it must be emphasized that the scent has nothing to do with amber. It is a nice, albeit quite synthetic amber accord that doesn't really change much. But if you like amber, you'll get your money's worth. It has a slightly smoky quality, which adds a certain charm. As a scent twin, I would mention "Amber" by Demeter. The scent is almost identical. "Ambra" is perhaps a little bit brighter and smokier. The sillage is not very strong either. The longevity is good. It is not an EdP, but a fragrance oil.
A special mention goes to the bottle. It is, excuse me, totally ridiculous. You first have to remove a kind of metal cap. This easily creates sharp edges. After that, you have to pierce through a plastic seal. A cork is included, which you can use to close the bottle again. I don't understand what that is supposed to accomplish. It is completely impractical.
Conclusion: It is an average, one-dimensional, and quite pleasant amber fragrance in a silly bottle.
