Rose and Ambrette
Valley of Gold starts out as a somewhat old-fashioned smelling rose geranium-forward (read: smells like rose) floral with herbal hints around the edges from the rosemary and black tea.
It then dries down to a funky-fruity-sweet ambrette seed base, despite ambrette not being one of the listed notes. I know it when I smell it, though—I kept wondering, “Whispered Myths, is that you?”
