Aptly-named white incense, a bit smoky but fresh, with green background hints
Sampling MCMC Fragrances White Temple, a striking incense fragrances that balances out smoky and fresh elements very effectively, achieving the “white” concept quite effectively and deeply from the sharper start to the smokier dry down. Additional notes of oak, balsam, and cedarwood smoothen the incense-led blend but it remains provocative and interesting. It still has a little bit of an underlying earthy/dirty quality so it doesn’t smell air-freshener-like or synthetic, and it also has a bit of a green coniferous quality to it, something like spruce from Hunter. Overall, it’s an easy winner, particularly for cooler weather, a great blend of interestingness and wearability.
Like the rest of the house, White Temple is EDP concentration and is priced at $95 for 50ml, very reasonable in the current market, and is also available in perfume oil and candle. Moreover, it performs very well. So far, it’s my favorite try of the house.
