Has potential but remains infuriatingly vague and noncomittal
Out of all the Maison Rebatchi fragrances I've sampled, Bois d'Enfants initially struck me as the most unique. Its gauzy iris-musk forms a sort of celadon cloud, like spun sugar made out of blond wood, suspending droplets of iced berries and mint and tiny petals. It is utterly non-descript but charming in its airy vagueness. Its berries and flowers do not smell anything like what they do in real life. Better still, there is an intriguingly bitter, medicinal aspect to the frothy woody musks, like camphor or wintergreen that brings Bois d'Enfants into the orbit of my beloved Douce Amere or Bohea Boheme. Eventually though, I began to be irritated at the very abstraction that had initially attracted me, because upon deeper inspection, there is nothing truly substantial or interesting behind it.

Forest Spirits Light
I confess that I enjoy taking a bath with mountain pine, fir, and Swiss stone pine oil. It always calms me down.
This scent reminds me of my night walk in the forest on La Palma.
But before I indulge in memories, I'd rather focus on the fragrance itself. In general, I can only recommend that everyone should have vacationed on La Palma.
You don't have to worry that the scent is dominated by balsam fir and green, woody notes.
I would have liked that, but after about an hour, the forest is completely forgotten, and we end up in a gourmand-balsam scent.
At first, there's this fresh forest feeling, but the green notes quickly shift into a cozy warm sea of colors.

A subtle rose and iris are clearly perceptible. Light smoke and musk, delicate sandalwood, and this wonderful balsam note lie on a caramel-vanilla carpet.
Yes, one could claim that the entire base is very vanilla-toned. The raspberry note seems to spoil rather than enhance and emerges chemically at the end. On my skin, something strange develops, but it's not disturbing.
I am simply in love with the first hour of the perfume. The rest is good to okay.
It never becomes overly sweet. Thank goodness, because it has sweet sugar!

Its projection is good but not too loud.
In the rain, I believe it is most enjoyable in autumn; it keeps you warm, it doesn't disturb, it accompanies you, and after 4 hours, you just want to cuddle with it in bed.
That's nice, yet not always so exciting.
It is charmingly beautiful but not a masterpiece.
However, that's just my perspective.
For me, there's too little forest and too much powdered sugar.
Nevertheless, it's a creation that can be worn without any problems. Man or woman. Young or old.
The bottle reminds me a bit of Guerlain. Great spray head that mists super gently with pressure. No water pistol effect.

It is available in 50 and 100 ml.
Seen in the Hamburg Hof Perfumerie.

It's more of a "room scent than a perfume." Herbal and spicy, definitely good against tobacco smoke. Interesting to try, but that's about it.

Green rose in a dark fir forest. Camphor + incense added. Enchanted by children into a gourmand. Raspberry candies + vanilla. Strange.

Many little flowers in the meadow.
A bee buzzes.
Then it was gone.
Unfortunately, so was the scent.

Berry search in the damp forest. Violets are blooming. Somewhere, a very smoky little fire is burning. The scent is softly smoky-sweet berry.

Fir balsam, rose, iris, creamy vanilla.
Very delicate gourmand unisex scent. Sweet, powdery melt from musk and floral dust.
