In the Price-Performance Olympus

I paid about 5 euros for this at dambiro.
In disbelief, I keep sniffing my wrist and think to myself: This can't be real.
It's simply good, somewhere between Dunhill, Jil Sander, Grey Flannel, etc.
Nothing nasty or synthetic, elegantly masculine.
OK, the bottle is just a container, no complaints there.
Sillage and longevity in this price segment are far above average.
Price-performance: a solid 10.0. An A with a star.

Costs about the same in this case. I don't even want to start on the fact that here in the country, a poorly made copy of the original Italian "Veneziano" is sold at horrendous prices, and even more outrageously with Prosecco instead of dry white wine...

Anyway, either I'm imagining things, or there was an excellent comment about this fragrance a few days ago, which is now no longer available. This comment certainly prompted me to make a blind purchase of "Uomo Silver," and I would be happy to repeat the essence of the comment (as far as I can still remember it):

Very, very surprising what kind of quality is available for this price. I have had "Uomo Vetyver" from the house of Malizia for some time now, which offers equally high quality for ridiculous money.

Let's set aside the value of the bottle for a moment. Naturally, it’s not much to write home about, but the spray head allows for fine and clean dosing. The inner values are convincing across the board: A spicy men's fragrance, clean and unsynthetic, reminiscent of the mid-nineties or early 2000s.

I notice a striking similarity to "Dunhill" and similar fragrances, and this at nearly the same quality for a fraction of the price. One should make compromises regarding longevity, but then you just spray it on more often, buy yourself another OF, and prepare your Veneziano in style yourself...

Fresh, spicy. Similar to Quorum Silver, but fresher, greener, less pepper. Quite good, especially for the bargain price.

Herb spicy aftershave...If you like that, you're in the right place. Personally, a no-go. The spray head fell off when opening. I'd rather have the Aperol ;-)
