Too synthetic - and better "cheapie vanilla" alternatives

The opening is quite screechy-synthetic - but dry down comes quick, and it's exactly what you'd expect: a basic, sweet vanilla scent.

Pleasant enough, but too synthetic for my personal taste - I prefer these as higher-quality "vanilla cheapies":

Absolute Enthusiasm

Perfectly mimicked cake (cheesecake?), also in terms of sweetness. I am thrilled that this is possible.
I can't perceive vanilla as the only listed note; I clearly smell lactonic ingredients.
Fun fragrance, probably less suitable for serious business meetings, but definitely with a good mood guarantee.
For €3.90, an incredible performance. It is on par with the expensive Montale Vanilla Cake, the only difference being the less dominant vanilla.

What a cute little midget you are!

Originally, I bought a few Malizia candy scents for my 10-year-old niece for her birthday. At that age, it's still okay to give children’s perfumes.
Practice makes perfect! ;)
Milk Cake wasn't on my agenda, as I originally wanted Milk Shake!
However, since that was sold out, I took Milk Cake as my second choice and what can I say: A sweet, little, inexpensive gourmand fragrance; it smells of cake with vanilla, milk, and sugar. Sure, it's not a masterpiece and we won't even talk about the longevity, but for the price, it's absolutely recommendable.

Not what I expected

Sometimes it smells like lemon, sometimes like cheesecake, sometimes like yogurt or even sour milk. I just have trouble really finding the vanilla between the notes of milk and lemon.

From this one, I hoped to find what I later discovered in Vanilla Cake by Montale. A freshly baked cake, or waffles with powdered sugar. But the lemon ruins it for me.
