Uomo Vetyver Malizia 2008 After Shave Tonic

I am just finishing my second bottle of this aftershave lotion.
Its not an expensive product, it costs about 5-6 euros (in Italy) but its worth the money. Usually i dont use expensive aftershave lotions because, in first place, the main goal of this kind of products is to disinfect the skin and for this u dont need to spend a fortune (alcohol is alcohol no matter the price of the aftershave u are using) and, in second place, because i put a moisturizer creme at the end which has its own scent. So its pointless to use an expensive aftershave when, at the end, u will eventually " ruin it " by putting another product on your face.
The bottle has also a decent design. And last but not least, the lotion has a very attractive color.
The only flaw is that there is, as far as i know, no other kind of this aftershave, looks like its one of a kind despite the fact Malizia produces many kind of deodorants.

Uomo Vetyver After Shave Tonic with its fresh citrus and spicy woodiness is a beautifully blended little water and feels really invigorating after shaving. For me, it is even better than the EdT version Uomo Vetyver Eau de Toilette because it smells better balanced and is spicier. However, the best option is a combo of both.

The longevity is, as with most aftershaves, rather on the lower moderate side; the fresh citrus fades relatively quickly, leaving behind the woody vetiver scent. The sillage is also rather moderate and stays close to the skin.

Here you get a great fragrance at a very affordable price. You can't go wrong if you like the scent of vetiver and neroli.

Actually, there isn't much to say:
Vetiver! Aromatic and not particularly earthy, definitely good, although with rather mediocre longevity, but still very pleasant to wear. For the price of a cappuccino, you get a great little fragrance. Combined with deodorant, shower gel, and EDT, I feel 30 years younger in the summer when I use it. Yes, Malizia has been with me for a long time, and now as I think about it while writing, it is effectively my most loyal companion. 2-3 times a year, when I'm feeling particularly good and carefree, then it's its turn.

It is autumn. The sun is rising. Sunday morning. One stands in the bathroom. The shaving foam is on the face. The blade glides over the skin. After the shave, Malizia Uomo Vetyver comes into play.

Upon application, it burns typically for the product. The scent is initially citrusy. Bergamot and lemon. But already there, the green, spicy vetiver makes its presence known. Bright and slightly smoky.

The vetiver note lasts surprisingly long. I perceive the scent for about two hours. Not common for an aftershave. Then the intensity quickly decreases and the scent almost completely disappears.

The moisturizing effect is present. The skin feels relaxed. However, the alcohol dries it out a bit, a balm is advisable.

The price is unbeatable. This wonderful little water is practically being given away.

The entire series is fantastic. Whether EdT or the deodorant, both are excellent.

The scent can be used year-round. Although it might be a bit too weak in winter.

I find this aftershave very successful. It has earned a permanent place with me.
