A perfume? Or a Sweet?
First of all, I really like it.
Is it something groundbreaking?
Not really, no. It is however a Gourmand in the truest sense possible. This doesn't smell like a perfume, it simply smells like something edible. I personally didn't like the opening too much, it somehow reminded me of liquorice. Luckily this smell disappears of my skin quite quickly and what is left is a really nice and inviting concoction of biscuits (speculoos) that have been dipped in a really milky, vanillic and caramelly coffee. It has a slight (really slight) boozyness to it and develops a somewhat "fluffy" scent profile. The whiffs you get from this in the air legitimately make you crave something sweet to eat. It is really really lovely in the air, even better than up close. My Roommates both loved it. Honestly, I don't think that you could not like this, it is so approachable, easy to wear and just really really inviting. It might even be full bottle worthy, as it can be worn pretty much every day and isn't something crazily creative or challenging.
It does get better as it dries down, but it does develop this classic mancera/montale like sweet vanillic base that a lot of their perfumes dry down to. However, this is definitely one of their better releases and I suggest you to try it!
The performance is really good. As usual with perfumes from mancera.
The sillage is also right where I would want it to be.
It is truly unisex as well! Maybe just a little bit feminine leaning?
I have a 5ml decant for now and I think that'll do.
