Sillage Royal opens spicy smoky permeated by a striking bittersweet rose very sharp always present, the smoky 'oud is very easy and delicious and the patchouli enters the scene in my view in a discreet but noticeable way.
And added to the musk, amber and balm that together with the best smoke note I have ever felt in perfumery, a clear and unique smoke gives a smoky balsamic animalic aspect throughout evolution.
The combination of the notes of 'oud and smoke covering and igniting this wonderful rose provided one of the most successful pink/smoky/incendiary accords I have ever experienced. Without a doubt one of the best perfumes with the 'oud/rose/smoky' combo, but off the radar, a beautiful and delicious fragrance.
