Anthem - Beware, it's biting!
I ordered a Discovery Set from Manos Gerakinis. It came in a beautiful little black box with the fragrances and a handwritten note.
The first impression was definitely positive. Gradually, I tested the fragrances. Except for two, I like all of them well to very well. One of the two that I don't like is Anthem.
This fragrance is extremely biting! It really hurts in the nose. My first thought was: “Turpentine!”.
I wanted to give Anthem a second chance, so my husband graciously agreed to test this fragrance on his wrist. And again, Anthem proved to be extremely biting! This lasted quite a while until it finally calmed down and became softer. I could then perceive some vanilla, amber, and sandalwood, maybe also a bit of musk.
Anthem will definitely NOT be making its way here.
