The magic is in the dry down
Ganymede extract has a very different output than normal Ganymede. I was initially surprised because I was expecting a fully boosted Ganymede, but this one goes a different way. The extract is more bodied, denser, warmer, and that mineral/metallic note that the normal Ganymede has is replaced by notes of leather and incense.
As it dries down, it recovers Ganymede's DNA, and here yes, the dry down looks more like an empowered Ganymede. Even so, that warm spicy part with a touch of citrus (mandarin) is noted in the extract. I also slightly perceive an undeclared note, which is coffee.
I see the extract more for autumn/winter, when the normal version would use it throughout the year.
I recommend trying it before buying, because it can disappoint, but I think that the magic of this fragrance is in the dry down, which is where it shows all its cards.
