Good thing top notes don't last long...
...because this one reminds me of flavored nail polish removers. Sharp, bright, and sour, the scent starts off. Actually a reason to wash it off immediately.

But as soon as this "sour-makes-fun" note dissipates, it becomes - well, somehow floral - and ends sweet - somehow. The fragrance is so unrefined, bland, and unnecessary; I would have expected something different from the label.

Mainstream is fine. We all make a living, and the more people like a scent, the better (I don't have to wear it then), but maybe the creators should take a look over S.Oliver's shoulder on how to create a good fragrance in the low-price segment.

No wonder it stands like sour beer. It is even overlooked in the mainstream.

fruity-sweet
MOP Women opens with fresh-sweet fruits, the heart note is dominated by ripe-sweet fruits, and in the drydown, the sweet fruitiness is smoothed out with plenty of vanilla.

I can't give this fragrance more than 50 percent. It's not even poorly made, but I'm just fed up with the whole spray-fruit-with-vanilla from the mainstream shelf. MOP Women could have been a really beautiful fragrance with less fruit and vanilla. The heart note contains a lovely, bright, friendly floral accord, which is completely crushed by the peach. And the vanilla in the base is also not particularly innovative.

Surely this must get boring for perfumers at some point?!

And I think the sweet fruit mush does not fit at all with the style of MOP (simple, casual, natural materials).

sweet and sticky
Today I received a sample of the new Marc O'Polo fragrance and tried it right away. I was hoping that this scent could be as fresh and beautiful as Pure Green or Pure Morning. Unfortunately, not!! It smells like sweet sticky hair gel, and now it's on my hand. I can't detect any of the described fragrance notes.
The longevity is unfortunately still very good.
