Underrated Gem
There are fashion labels that neither have high prices nor a high reputation. This applies to fashion just as much as to the fragrances offered. Often, these scents carry the stigma of being cheap drugstore fragrances. Well, yes, many of these fragrances can indeed be found in drugstores and discount stores. But does that necessarily mean they are poorly made and bad? No, not by any means!
Pure Morning greets you right from the packaging. The pastel green reminds one of trees behind morning fog, and the rounded flat bottle resembles dew drops. If the cap weren't made of such cheap, lightweight plastic, it would be a perfectly beautiful tactile experience. I like it.
The scent opens just like a pure morning. Dew evaporates on grasses and leaves. That's exactly how it smells. Aromatic, green, fresh. You can recognize coriander and cardamom, as well as distinctly lavender and mint. Lightly bitter and herbal notes follow, reminiscent of freshly cut grass. In the dry-down, it becomes even more robust and woody, without ever hinting at anything artificial.
“Pure Morning” is a fragrance that reveals its character with the opening and remains true to it. Masculine notes in a fresh-herbaceous environment. Very pleasant and especially convincing in projection and longevity. You can smell it clearly beyond arm's length without it becoming too overpowering. The projection lasts easily for six hours before it gradually diminishes and slowly disappears towards the end of the day. An ideal summer scent.
