A very shy love in the Eternal City
Finally I tested it. After many months it appeared on the shelves of my favourite drugstores of my town and I was so curious to smell how it could be the latest creation by the Biagiotti brand after Laura's Death.
Well, I was expecting nothing special and it was exactly so.
A little preface about the weird name: AMOR(poetic italian word for love) is the exactly reverse form of ROMA , so the play on words could remind to the morst romantic face of the Eternal city.
Somebody could imagine a passionate and rich scent , or at least a so flowery and romantic bouquet representing the love in the Italian capital. Not at all. In this dejà vue column-shaped bottle there's a very "shy" scent , although in the pyramid appear warm and deep notes such as the patchouli and the Cashmere wood.
What I smelled at the first spray was a ghost of a light flowery note and nothing more. There's no "main actor" in this composition, there's no base lasting on the skin. Maybe it's me, but I remarked the same spraying the scent on the mouillette too and keeping it for hours in my bag hoping to smell something else .
Anyway, it is the perfect fragrance to wear when you only need to smell good and clean or , for example, in the hottest days. Surely it isn't a fragrance to wear with heavy clothes , wool and fur, because the sillage is quite weak, but it could result pleasant sprayed on light summer dresses.
the price is quite high in comparison with the longevity of the perfume, but if you are a Biagiotti 's fan, just try and decide...I think that this love story in Rome is too short and shy !

Love - a messy feeling
Recently, a contestant was asked in a quiz show in which city "love" was hidden?
Only then did it become clear to me, the quick thinker, that Cupid was hiding in Roma.

Bella Roma has always been my travel destination when I was freshly in love.

This lively, wonderfully untidy city corresponded with my tumultuous inner self.
Precht has described this emotional upheaval well in his book: "Love - a messy feeling."

And how beautiful are the venerable buildings and winding alleys - filled with trendy people who also have a smile for me - and take the time to explain routes to me vividly with hands and feet - because I am not proficient in Italian.
Creatively, they switch to Latin - because I had that in school.

Spontaneity is highly valued here - even when driving.
I am reminded of the legendary chariot race in "Ben Hur" - but I cheerfully join in - always using the horn.

And this colorful hustle and bustle has been well captured in Romamor.
The sweetness here represents the love that always enveloped me during my visits to Rome - and no, it is not too much for me.
The patch also softens the sweetness and tends towards a delicate woodiness.
Bright flowers appear sunny and the vanilla is soft and approachable.

I stand in the middle of St. Peter's Square, surrounded by various languages.
All roads lead to Rome.

Roma Moja - "My Rome," my love!
Welcome to a new episode of "4ajbukoshka and the Italian."
Some will roll their eyes now, others will probably sigh sympathetically, but what they all have in common is: they do not know that this "new" episode is actually an old one, a kind of flashback.

"The Eternal City is the perfect stage for great love stories. How does yours continue?" says the fragrance description of Roma (or Romamor).
Today, however, we will start from a different angle, with the bottle: Miss Still-Hopeful-and-Five-Ever-Faliiieeept had to realize in her search for this treasure that the thing is not called what she thought.
For her, the perfume was called "Roma моя" (Roma Moja) until today - yes, she read it exactly as it was written on the bottle and therefore named the scent "My Rome." Anyone who reads Cyrillic out of habit does not immediately realize that these are mirrored letters, at least not Miss 4ajbukoshka, who, as always, has her head in the clouds and would surely leave it lying somewhere if it weren't attached.
So, Rome. 4ajbukoshka, who is considered a non-Italian by an Italian for an Italian, with a penchant for Roman architecture, stories of gods, and a dislike for spaghetti, has actually been to Italy, all alone with a military backpack from the former Soviet Union. She has eaten prickly pears in the wild in (Southern) Italy and even celebrated Ferragosto, but she has never been to Rome itself.
She only knows it from pictures, stories, and of course the ancient remnants in her favorite city in Germany, which is why she has her own image of this city.
But now to the story:
"My Rome" was until recently part of her roommate's fragrance collection - and as it is in girls' shared apartments, one shares not only the contents of the fridge and clothes (especially for dates, something new has to come) but also one or the other cosmetic product.

So it is today. It is September 21, 2020.
A slightly annoyed 4ajbukoshka jumps, after she quickly shopped about 1 1/2 hours before her date, cut watermelon, washed other fruits, made wraps, chopped even more stuff into salad, searched for the picnic blanket, and packed everything, as if stung by a tarantula, through the apartment, into the shower ("without hair," there is no time for that) and back out, asks a dozen people what she should wear and finally decides on a simple, tight black jersey dress with a dark red ethnic pattern at the neckline, her color-wise but stylistically less matching burgundy bomber jacket, and semi-transparent black tights with black Vans. She normally never wears so much black. And in any case, her date outfit is an absolute understatement. In the "casual" encounters with the Italian, she had put more effort into her outfits.
Her roommate, however, gives her great praise for it ("Black is such a happy color! Me gusta!" she exclaims joyfully), but she is still not entirely convinced when she puts on the heavy bag and sprays on two spritzes of "My Rome" - because it fits the theme so well.
4ajbukoshka's first date with an Italian and her first with a Laura Biagotti. Regarding both, it would not be the last time, but 4ajbukoshka does not suspect that yet.
For reasons of time management, she didn't even have time for a hairstyle. So today, no romance, but the 08/15 high ponytail with the terribly frizzy curls that two hair ties can't tame.
This could be something...
And it WILL be something.
It will be a picnic by the shore, Signor brings the scented candle and the Aperol Spritz.
It will be "Kitsch factor 10" (Heikeso).
It starts with fruit (salad - I can clearly smell raspberries).
It will be sweet, yet free from wasps and bees - and it ends so beautifully cozy, warm, and familiar (despite temperatures at which normally no one sits outside and picnics) with a small bouquet of flowers for 4ajbukoshka, presented by Signor Il Herzensbrecher, the incredibly handsome, fragrant, and charming Italian.
"Knowing that the beginning of a wonderful story can hide anywhere - and Romamor is the scent that accompanies it. It stands for a modern chapter. A scent to fall in love with."
Well. Does 4ajbukoshka know that already when she closes the door behind her on the night of September 22, 2020?
Probably not. Her senses are a bit hazy, she is smitten.
(By the way, Romamor is also quite good, a bit more longevity would have been really nice, it doesn't even last five hours.)

You now know it - and as much as I regret to say it, you will soon read another escapade from Signor Il Herzensbrecher, even though nothing has been revealed about "his" scent, I can say one thing in advance: it involves a guitar, a beautifully sad song, an apology, and of course a broken heart.

Until then, Signorina 4ajbukoshka lets herself be comforted - by her roommate and Romamor, which she does not want to smell on herself before her next date with the Italian, and that is why her "Black is such a happy color" roommate with black-green tinted hair carries it around the apartment. Until it is empty, that is: until March 23, 2021.
So we remain curious.
For the new episode and whether Romamor and love will move in again.

-----------------
Back in the present, 4ajbukoshka sits with a sprained wrist in her favorite chair and engages in her favorite pastime: telling everyone how great the Italian is while being completely unaware of the annoyance she is causing people.
Muhahahahaha.

Powdery-sweet is my daily form...
Boy, I thought there was a lot of mainstream in this one when I read the notes.
During the first testing, I thought there was something in the fragrance that made me feel inclined towards it.

During the second testing, I got an Angel vibe and told myself, whoever has that one doesn't need the other anymore.

But that's misleading. The berries open sweetly and the grapefruit brings back memories of the origin.
Wait a moment longer and magnolia, orange blossom, and jasmine enter the room, unexpectedly mixing harmoniously with the first impression and complementing it very finely.

It’s this melange that keeps making me sniff again, is there still something hidden?
It becomes creamy and powdery and lasts for a long time.
Only later do I perceive a fine vanillic woodiness, embraced by gentle patch.

As always, one cannot argue about tastes; what some like, others turn away from in disgust.

A judgment is quickly made. I like to keep the possibilities open.

Powdery-sweet is my daily form.

My Super-Sweet 16th Birthday
Romamor is an exceptionally powdery-fruity fragrance that immediately overwhelms you with a synthetic, extremely fruity-sweet sillage at the start. You can tell right away that the scent is aimed more at a younger target audience and less at women in leadership positions. The synthetic-fruity and powdery opening strongly resembles a typical teenage perfume for girls aged about 14 to 20 years.

I must admit that I, as a man, do not like this perfume, as it comes across as too synthetic-fruity-powdery and can quickly feel a bit overwhelming. The powdery sweetness clearly shows that this fragrance caters more to teenage girls than to women in leadership roles - this is precisely why it loses charm and elegance.

After a few minutes, the scent noticeably changes: the fruity sweetness recedes somewhat, and the floral notes become more prominent, yet they still remain synthetic-sweet. Unfortunately, the fragrance strays significantly from the characteristic original Roma Eau de Toilette and thus does not present a convincing alternative or interpretation.

As a gift for young girls between 14 and 10 years old, it is certainly suitable - but for confident women in leadership positions who are looking for sophistication and elegance, it is probably the wrong choice (this is my assessment as a man).

A very "shy" scent: at least perceivable, very evanescent . Nothing new the column-shaped bottle.

Initially reminds me of the original. It retains that DNA but becomes milder, fruitier, and sweeter. I find it better than rated here.

Unfortunately, not my thing at all. Sweet-fruity mush with flowers. I usually like Biagiotti fragrances. Kitsch factor 10!

How sad! It no longer resembles the "old Roma" at all. Quickly created, overpowering, and artificial smelling. Disappointing :(

Moldy white flowers with a sweet undertone.
In the background, there's a cat litter smell creeping in. Maybe it's the vanilla.

Shocked! I didn't expect that from LauraB. Now they're also going for the LaVieEstBelle route! Roma, Venezia, etc. Goodbye! It's going to be super sweet now.

No resemblance to the beautiful Roma of the past and so sweet!
So more "Romaless" and "Sugarmore."

Floral-sweet, romantic scent. It strongly reminds me of Laura Rosé - if you miss it, you should definitely try Romamor.

Very sweet, sharp. Somehow it’s a perfume. Yes, a modern one from Angelini Beauty in Milan. I was thinking more of Lenor by Henkel.

The scent is quite nice, floral and squeaky pink, but has something sharp and piercing that I don't like in fragrances. A bit synthetic.
