Ylang in sausage
The fragrance was kindly sent to me by a nice perfumer! Thank you for it!
I can also understand the praising voices - it smells "noble" and I have respect for how here a comforting vanilla was integrated into a summer fragrance.
But there is something that turns me off from the fragrance.
Not only is the vanilla very sweet and after a while, after the ylang commits desertion very quickly, very flat.... it also smells like liverwurst!
That sounds crazy, yes :)
Help me out- am I being fooled by the mix of kitchen herbs in the top notes?
I can only tell that out of all the powdery and vanillic, there's always such a meaty note coming out. NOT the good kind of salty note. I smell, albeit vanishingly, savory gravy and that makes the overall composition difficult for me to enjoy.
