A unique blend of scents
Price paid : gift from mom
Format : full bottle
Method : right arm, spray
The first note I get hit with is bamboo. I know it's not in the list. I can't help finding similarities with Perry Ellis Platinum. This however, is more interesting and throws a wider path of scent varietals. I get a sickly floral sweet aroma from this and can pick out lavender, kitschy/cliche "love lives here, hate doesn't" whiskey hand soap you'd buy from a catalog (not actual whiskey or barrel), orris root, amber, dark moss, and orange blossom.
The longevity is okay. It's an EDC, as all MK Men products are, and lasts about 2.5 hours on my skin before I'm ready to reapply or put something else on. If you wanted to you could probably still detect it super close until hour #4. It launches a modest 2" from the skin the whole time so it gets a single thumb up for me on projection.
The bottle is unique. You'll either love it or hate it. It looks like a bottle trapped in a picture frame - except the top of the picture frame "breaks" off so you can access the atomizer. Make sure you put the piece back on right though, it won't click into place and you'll be combing the floor for it.
Overall, it's not a bad wear. It doesn't smell like anything else in my large collection. Domain is still my favorite MK Men product, but this might be 2nd or 3rd.
