Nomen est omen
The fern forest is simply refreshing. So beautifully green and fern-like, with a bit of moss included, and then a subtle vetiver. In a fit of enthusiasm, I applied a generous amount of the balm on the back of my hand, practically as a deluxe hand cream. With every movement, I had a wonderfully herbal scent in my nose. As if you had crumpled the fern fronds between your hands.
Very important, the balm MUST be applied to the skin for testing. In the small sample jar, the full spiciness of this fragrance does not unfold even remotely.
Pacific Perfumes are cream perfumes that come in small wooden jars. Everything is sustainably produced. If you suspect an eco-fragrance now, you are wrong and also not wrong. The compositions are so beautifully tropical, it's a joy to try them out. And, what I've noticed, this tropical variety I already know from Bud Perfumes. The botany of the southern hemisphere yields wonderfully exquisite essences. Similar aromas can be discovered, although Bud comes across as a bit more complex. And punchier. Unfortunately, the Pacific Perfumes balms are not very long-lasting, about 4 hours. But, since the application is very economical due to the cream form and nothing can leak in the handbag, just take it along and reapply.
It will take a while until I have worked my way through all my samples, but let me just say, there are some exceptionally delicious (mango) and sexy (Island Passion) fragrances among them. And the little wooden balls are just great for us playful types!
