Is pink in fashion again?

Another cheapie from a German drugstore. This one consists of phenethyl alcohol and some aromachemicals smelling of roses. "It's fashion time" - but how can you turn this motto into a successful fragrance? Probably not by using rose plus some slightly candied, sweet base. Well, at least this drugstore scent recalls a certain colour: pink. And it makes me think of a shower gel that has leaked into a bag of gummy bears. At the price of 2,90 Euros one shouldn't complain too much.

Blind Purchase No. 1

I usually don’t buy anything without testing it first. But I ordered online from Rossmann and had to reach a certain amount to use a voucher ^_^ That’s why I added two fragrances to my cart.

it’s Fashion Time starts off very sweet and artificial. It has a soapy note (which I don’t like) and is quite overpowering. I prefer lighter fragrances, and this one doesn’t fit that category.
After the first few minutes, it develops a bit. Some of the synthetic notes fade away, and it becomes a little more subtle. As already indicated next to the fragrance, it is sweet and fruity. More sweet than fruity.

In the cold season, it’s not wrong, and despite the girlish packaging, I would attribute it more to women, let’s say, 40 or 50 and up. It’s a bit too heavy for girls and women who lack life experience.

The bottle is kept simple, feels good in the hand, and the spray head works well.

You can tell the fragrance’s price because it doesn’t smell particularly high-quality. Upon closer inspection, I don’t find it that great, and it was a poor blind purchase. Maybe I’ll have better luck with the second blind purchase, but I believe Mel Merio and I won’t become friends. Also, it gives me a headache...
