Brettljause
Since I love the mountains and the Alps, I absolutely had to test this fragrance. The bottle is not high-quality, but I like the design.
The scent reminded me right after the first sniff of one that I already had, but I couldn't initially remember which one. After two days of pondering, sniffing, and going through my "Had I" list, it finally came to me.
At first, I thought of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (2014), Ange ou Demon edt., Glow by Jennifer Lopez...
No, it's So de la Renta, and a stronger, more substantial version at that. I never smelled the melon in that one anyway, and it always felt a bit too light for me. Alpenglam has the punch that you miss in So de la Renta. The shampoo impression is exactly the same, but the longevity is longer.
It's a fragrance for women who love very floral scents. I mostly smell jasmine, rosewood, and iris, with the woods and amber beautifully accentuating the whole.
Glamorous it is not; yes, as the name suggests, in the Alps, in a rustic cabin with humtata music and a Brettljause party, it might be.
Anyone who misses So de la Renta or wishes for it with more substance can grab this one.
