Blanc
Montecristo Deleggend Blanc - Elements of chypre meet fougere nuances.
The bouquet opens very, very fresh and with a burst of fruit and pink pepper. A very successful combination in men's perfumery. At the same time, a breeze of minimal aquatic flows trough the fragrance, which additionally makes elevates the scent like a halo on my skin. The fragrance is still spicy but first and foremost fresh. So I don't feel any overdrawn flotsam or seagrass. Now and then a little Ambrox radiates close my skin. It fits perfectly.
In combination with lavender it gives me the impression of a holiday in the Mediterranean. Everything seems wide, light and timeless.
A subliminal, animalistic chord (I would have guessed light musk) is now introduced into these sounds near the skin (mainly for fixation, I guess.) This now heralds the drydown with light woods and a slight amber sweetness.
Blanc is the brighter of the three Deleggent brothers and makes me ache for warmer temperatures. It brings a lot of independence, but also preserves the attitude of the fragrance trio.
With over 8 hours on the skin, it is perfect for all occasions and plays a sovereign role at a party as well as at the pool or in the office.
In my opinion, the fragrance is also unisex, as long as you appreciate dimmed sweetness (as a lady.)
