BANG AND BOOM ... DAMASCUS!

Unfortunately, this headline fits all too well with the current situation in Syria. It is an incomprehensible tragedy! I wish everything could be as wonderful and heavenly there as this fragrance! However, I primarily mean the sillage, the intensity, and the longevity of Aoud Damascus. A true fragrance aura is conjured around and on your body. The Orient calls!

Here, at least in terms of the fragrance development that AD takes on me, the rose clearly plays the absolute leading role - a bright rose, an intense rose, a wonderfully natural rose. Although I have no other experiences with rose fragrances, this is exactly how I imagine a rose perfume par excellence. The incense, which I would have liked a bit more of, I only perceive very subtly when sniffing intensely on myself, and regarding the eagle wood, I also lack the expanded horizon of experience.

As the rock classic by the band Poison goes: "Every rose has its thorn ..." - The thorn that particularly pricks me with this rose, with this fragrance, is the one that likely defines the limited suitability of Aoud Damascus for men. If we were in the Orient, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to wear this perfume from time to time, but in our latitudes, that might be rather difficult or at least more than bold. Let's see what I make of it ...

I really like the smell of roses, but as I have already admitted, I have little experience with corresponding perfumes. Perhaps the experts among you can send me a few tips regarding rose fragrances suitable for men. But it could also be that a gentleman can indeed smell "rosy" ... Unfortunately, I don't know.

In summary, I say: Aoud Damascus is divine! Ladies in love with roses must definitely test it (and grab it)! Bold gentlemen - go for it! But definitely dose it with a lot of sensitivity!

Exactly, just wear it and enjoy. For example, I wear Scherrer 1 (developed as a women's fragrance) because of the roses - so far, no one has given me a hard time about it. And yes, I'm almost 100% straight :) (Apparently, there's no one who's a full 100% straight :))

Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about possibilities. If you like the scent, wear it! Nice comment, and of course: make love not war!
