Unexpectedly beautiful...
I had only seen Naseem fragrances before, but had never tested or owned one. I became aware of Purple - Blue through the lovely "Sarajk" and would like to take this opportunity to thank her again for being so kind and giving me a bottle as a gift.
I had no expectations of the fragrance before testing it because I hadn't looked at any fragrance notes beforehand, so "Purple - Blue" surprised me all the more.
Immediately after spraying it on, the pleasant, comforting scent of fabric softener hits my nose. Clean, fresh, sweet-floral, slightly soapy and powdery.
I immediately notice white flowers. Sweet, intensely fragrant jasmine and the sweet, fresh floral note of freesia... super beautiful.
The white flowers are joined by juicy pears and apples that lend the fragrance a light fruitiness. For a short time, I can also detect exotic fruits that I unfortunately can't quite put my finger on. I would guess it is pineapple and mango.
The fruity notes fade slightly into the background in the drydown and make way for the white flowers, which are very present throughout the fragrance.
Purple - Blue also reminds me minimally of freshly washed laundry because it has this fabric softener note that smells very clean and well-groomed.
The durability of up to 6 hours is moderate, after which it becomes close to the skin, softer and gentler.
For me, Purple - Blue is a slightly soapy, very neat, fresh-floral clean fragrance that I would classify as more feminine. I would tend to wear it in spring as it would be a little too intense for me in summer at high temperatures.
