Essencial Oud Masculino Natura 2018

My favorite of the line. Wow, this is fantastic, and it even reminds me of some niche vanillas I've smelled. What makes this special is that vanilla note, which is rich, balsamic, and yes, boozy, but not too sweet. The way it combines with the soft spices (cardamom, nutmeg, maybe even ginger) and the clean, synthetic oud is just delicious. What I also love about this scent is that it's fresh! Fresh, bright, even sparkling. You would think from the notes that it would be just the opposite, but I could even see wearing this on a spring or cooler summer day as well. Definitely the most unique and most special in this whole line, and just like the others, smells totally natural and does not assault my nose at all. It's super radiant and strong too, without being overbearing. Just love it.

Synthetic oud blended with many undistinguishable notes that brings to mind other compositions of the kind - maybe they have the same molecule in common; of these, rose / oud compositions. Memory failed me since I recalled M7, but hand - in - hand the differences are obvious regardless a lost note in the back (again, the oud).

This morphs into spicy notes some time after application, it shows some complexity overall within five minutes. Patch is mentioned in the pyramid, I cannot identify it. Cedar would be the one I can recall better, however in a context of what has to be a floral note. Please be aware that from past experience I realized that it demands a full wear, a rapid one can be misleading. It is meant to run along the day, this will certainly bring surprises when it comes to complexity.

Excelente cost / value relationship: not widely known, and if known, frowned upon as corresponds to scents sold through catalogues a la Avon / Mary Kay. Do not let this fool you, nor if you do not mind strong synthetic notes.
