A very meh rose scent; Great for this who hate roses.

As a bit of a rose snob, I can honestly stay that this isn’t one of my favorites. It’s not a bad rose scent, but the plum overshadows the rose a bit too much for my liking. It makes it annoyingly sweet and distracts from the rose note. This is a great rose for people who hate or cannot take a liking to rose, but also don’t mind their scents being a bit sweet. While it does evoke the thought of a Turkish rose-flavored candy of sorts, it’s a bit too fruity. I don’t have a problem with fruity scents, but this doesn’t smell like something I would want to wear around.

This is a spring / summer daytime scent for the rose haters for sure. Projection is intimate to moderate, depending on how much you apply, and the longevity is average. I prefer for roses to be paired with other fruits, such as litchi, black currant, lemon, etc. Plum isn’t a note I come across too often, but I’m not sure if I like how it’s been paired with the rose and woods here. A lot of people like to be ageist and say it’s not “your average grandma rose”, but I almost think I prefer more natural rose scents done in that fashion than the way it’s been interpreted here. This is slightly ”young” to my nose and would work great for someone in high school or college.

I have the rollerball of this scent and when I’m done using it, I definitely will not be getting a full bottle.
