Love in a bottle
Reviewing Fantomas has reminded me that I haven't posted anything on this beauty even though my bottle is coming to an end. Let me start off with the fact that it is a synthetic fragrance. Testing it on the scented strip has little to no value. Spray it on the skin. Same goes for JHAG, Eccentric Molecules, Nomenclature and 27 87 creations. Simply let it warm up and develop on your skin for few minutes and only then give it an evaluation. If you sniff it in the test strip you'll get sandalwood smell from para_iso whit it doesn't even contain.

Once on the skin this gem opens with juicy mouthwatering quince pear. I always thought that quince scent profile is crossover between yuzu and pear. Here it is beautiful example of that. Pear juice with bitterness of yuzu like rind through and through. After an hour it turns more green, more (dare I say) herbaceous. It reminds me of a jungle. Rainforest greenery, white sandy beach nearby, it just rained. It is not fruity in a sense that you smell fruit salad bowl, it gives you the peaceful sense of the region where tropical fruits grow on the trees. Para_iso is exquisite and must have for those who love photorealistic perfumery. Absolute love

Into Paradise
For me, Nomenclature Para_Iso truly evokes an association with paradise... It transports me upon spraying to an island with palm trees and a beautiful white sandy beach, surrounded by turquoise blue sea. I lie in a hammock between two palm trees, enjoying a cocktail. In the background, someone is playing hula music (I hope you know what I mean).

And no, we don't have a summery sunscreen scent here, no coconut note or vanilla explosion. It really smells more fresh, greenish with a woody undertone and a fruity note. Yes, it is a synthetic fragrance, but one of the good ones, in my opinion. To me, it also smells clean, rounded, and intense. The sillage is truly impressive, and the longevity is also very good. The scent remains present on me for a long time. Over time, it becomes a bit earthier and might even remind one of rainy weather. However, I still associate it with the tropics, and that totally relaxes me. A real therapy scent for me...

For me, this fragrance is definitely a true highlight. It is certainly worth at least one spray and sniff. But beware, once it's on the skin, it stays there.

Grandma's Gas Stove …
For me, a candidate that I unfortunately had to wash off after just a few minutes. The scent triggers a kind of nausea in me.

So what does this perfume smell like? The scent strongly reminds me of my grandma's gas stove. I am back in my grandma's kitchen in the 60s in Copenhagen, watching with great fascination as the gas flames crackle and appear very blue when my grandma turns on the stove. There was just one thing I never liked back then, the smell of gas, and that is exactly how this perfume smells to me. Quite strange..

Some time ago, when our heating was being serviced, we received a small piece of paper that you could smell to see what it smells like in the house when gas has leaked.. I smell the exact same suffocating terrible odor that immediately causes nausea in me in this perfume as well… Unfortunately, I don't know which note causes this gas smell. I once smelled the same thing in another perfume a long time ago, but unfortunately, I don't remember which one..

In the drydown, the scent becomes very earthy and very green, like stagnant flower water that is already dark green… But the strange gas note remains..

Creepy.. Unfortunately, washing it off is difficult.. After washing my hands three times, I can still smell the "scent"…

A quirky floral-fruity. Is it the artificial quince? Nothing is sweet here. The scent has a somewhat green earthy quality and ...

Hard to describe.. floral, very light, fresh and creamy - without sweetness or sunscreen. Remarkable longevity and sillage.

As always, style-defining synthetics.
Cool, woody fruit. Green accents. Metallic flashes.
Shines bright, but always has a slightly musty undertone.
