Fresh little flower with a warm base
A couple of days ago I came across Rosamor and had the chance to test it, if only in passing. Originally I just wanted to check the pyramid. But as there is no commentary yet on this site I'll post my impressions.
The pyramid looks much more interesting than what the fragrance smelled like to me. All this is supposed to be in there?
My impressing was much simpler: A modern, fresh floral from which I could not identify anything without help, really. I didn't think it particularly rosy as the name suggested. Rosamor sounds much like an homage to the Queen of Flowers. But no.
I got a hint of lily-of-the-valley, I thought, but they are not listed.
Right, fresh and floral it is, a bit scratchy in the nose. A fine irritatingly dry sort of scratchiness.
Later on it warms up. Somewhere inbetween it reminded me of "Brilliant Wish" from afar, but not anymore when I put my nose close to my skin.
Ambra in the base, I thought so, patchouli, sandalwood and cedar fit the picture as well. Myrtle and bullwort surprise me totally.
Rosamor is a pleasant, floral-fresh scent that doesn't intrude. It's rather exchangeable, too, unfortunately. Perfect if you just want a discreetly pleasing scent for the office. By no means a statement.
