Classic Resins

Bengale Rouge on my skin is primarily an opopanax (sweet myrrh) perfume. Its resinous, warm, thick, powdery and spiced. For reference, I'd say it's the mid point between Shalimar and Slumberhouse's Ore but I think some people might find it easier to wear than either of those as it purrs rather than roars. Longevity wise this stuff is eternal if you get it on a scarf or a coat. Great stuff.

Old money scent

Bengale Rouge by Papillon Artisan Perfumes

This is one of the best vanilla scents ive smelled.
If i would describe the scent in 3 words it would be
Sweet, Elegant, Old money.

Its starts off pretty sharp and citrussy (Bergamot)
but after its dried down its a 10/10 just give it 15 mins.

The price and quality is amazing too
i wouldve paid more too if the price was higher it really is that good.

Amo profondamente questo profumo, non ha stagionalità è perfetto in qualsiasi momento. Apre con un agrume immerso nel miele con una spruzzata di cannella. Un infuso alle spezie che si avvinghia alla pelle e rimane a lungo. La sensazione di cannella lascia spazio ad una vaniglia unica, un accordo così è difficile da dimenticare lascia il segno. Nulla di animalico come Salome che anche amo, ma assolutamente di carattere. Bello, bello ed ancora bello. Un must have per sempre

Beauty of the balance

It is a perfume that combines vanilla, tonka, and above all honey ... with a certain touch of citrus and roses.
It does not look like other fragrances with those notes.
It has a sweet-creamy power as well as discreet, elegant and non-cloying.
Invites you to continue smelling it over and over again to end up finding all the details that it carries.
It is a surprising fragrance, the power of attraction it has on the rest of the people who smell you for the few compliments that are received by it in the beginning.
It is very reminiscent of Aura Sublime de Bijon due to the certain citrus point (more pronounced in that of Bijon) and also in the "sweet" part it recalls Musc Ravageur enhanced with honey.
It will be liked by people who value amber smells of the less woody.
The performance is one of the best in this type of scent that I know, or the best, with the permission of Aura Sublime. Silage quite powerful the first two hours.

A Gem

There are some perfumes that get close to the heart, ones that convey all the love and care that went into their creation.

This fragrance expresses warmth; when you wear it, you feel like you're wearing a scent that reflects something the perfumer felt inside, rather than just a fragrance made for convenience.

Upon first scent, you're enveloped by a warm, spicy note that, to my nose, recalls cinnamon, which perfectly blends with the resinous notes of myrrh and benzoin, along with the sweetness of honey that is never overwhelming. A subtle animalic note merges harmoniously with the other elements, extremely pleasant and perfectly balanced. As time passes, the sweetness fades, giving way to creamy, slightly powdery, and musky notes.

It’s a rich, creamy, elegant, and sensual fragrance that keeps calling you to smell it again and again...

It’s hard to describe an emotion, sometimes you can’t explain it, you just have to enjoy it and let yourself be carried away.
