Great for all seasons and situations!
I won this fragrance during a game, so I might as well review it :) I found it hard to identify the notes, but then again it's a floral fragrance without jasmine and rose (which I can identify pretty easily), so that was to be expected.

In the opening this scent is a flower bomb! It's still weird to assign a colour to a scent, but I find this smells red. So red flowers basically. I think it's the orchid, but it might as well be the magnolia. I also notice a fruity touch, but once again my nose can't identify them. At first I thought it was strawberry, but that's most likely due to the red colour that I assigned to the scent, so my nose is playing tricks on me ...

During the drydown the fragrance becomes warmer thanks to the amber. After a very long time the sandalwood joins in as well, supporting the warmth given by the amber.

The perfume is quite overwhelming when freshly sprayed, but as time passes it becomes more subtle and closer to the skin. And also quite powdery, in a good way. It's a deliciously soft scent for ladies. Due to the fruity opening and warm base, this fragrance can be worn all year long in my opinion. I can easily see this as someone's signature scent!

Roberto poured the whole sugar bowl in.
Um... are we talking about the same perfume?

I was really looking forward to trying the first Cavalli fragrance for women (according to Wikipedia). I like his fluffy, cozy scents. And the reviews certainly set some expectations.

So, a few spritzes... waah, what is that? At first, I only perceive a very piercing unpleasant smell. The apple, perhaps?
After 2 minutes, this fades away, and now I smell nothing but sweetness... unpleasant sweetness, because it's just too much. I can't even say what it is. A floral-fruity indefinable something. way too cloying and too sweet. Not much changes in the scent development. The base notes make it a bit woodier. But the sweetness stings and scratches in the nose. I'm not really surprised that production was discontinued. Sweet scents can be wonderful, but too much is too much. I'm waiting in vain for the fruity-refined aspect :(

What a pity, I was so excited to have gotten a bottle. Apparently, the scent develops completely differently on me than on my predecessors.

This bomb is only wearable, in my opinion, by very young girls at sub-zero temperatures.

Longevity is OK. The scent lasts well, even with just a few spritzes, but it's rather close to the body. Fortunately, I don't perceive it as too strong.

I'm really a bit disappointed. If the scent weren't quite so sweet, I would definitely like it. I generally like sweet fragrances, but here it's really too much.

A Fragrance to Kneel For....
This fragrance is a statement, it says, I am confident, I know what I want, don’t take the butter off my bread - short and sweet "whoops, here I come"! It is sensual and at the same time confidently grounded! When I need power for the day, want to exude confidence and a bit of superiority, I put it on! It gives me an aura of strength and style....it doesn’t leave me alone when others have already slipped away...Roberto, today is another day when you have to make a guest appearance in my life!

At the start, one clearly perceives floral-fruity notes, not sweet, not sugary-disturbing, but measured and elegant....this phase lasts only a short time, but it is very pleasant to the nose...after that, one catches a whiff of freesia; I can’t say anything about honeysuckle, I don’t even know what it looks like, to be honest....but what I do know and love in nature is rosemary, and I found it a bit strange to find this spice in the pyramid, but it gives the fragrance that certain unusual touch...it becomes a bit herbal-bitter, but not disturbing or too dominant, it is delightful and tickles the nasal mucous membranes a bit....one sees sun-drenched southern meadows, can almost smell warmth and brightness, and one indulges in the finest holiday memories. At this point, Roberto Cavalli becomes my hero, he manages to create the unusual with simple means - his fashion is sometimes a bit overloaded, but his fragrances, at least the ones I know, never are. He undeniably has a nose for scents - in the truest sense of the word!
When the rosemary calms down a bit and becomes quieter, amber and patchouli set in and give the whole thing a warm, slightly spicy depth that flatters and is cozy. Cedar and sandalwood are only faintly detectable, but wonderfully subtly present.....at this point, I am on my knees before Signore Cavalli and worship him reverently....whoever mixes this brew knows their business ..... he is my olfactory hero of the day! May he create many more similarly well-crafted fragrances, I thirst for them!
This perfume can, in my opinion, be worn at any time, in summer, where it will likely develop even more beautifully on the skin, but also in winter it should be a treat, because it drives away the cold, at least in the mind and in the nose ;-) it lasts surprisingly long even though it tends to be more skin-close. It is a true dream and a gem of perfumery art.....

Gentle Expulsion from Paradise
Roberto Cavalli - many of his collections feature animal prints, and of the more elegant kind, not the tacky-cheap ones. Cavalli's favorite animal is the snake. All his bottles are adorned with variations of it, because his favorite animal is - the snake. I wouldn't say the same about myself; my relationship is rather a very ambivalent one. Fascination and shiver.
After all: Many, many years ago, I visited a couple who cared for two boa constrictors as if they were children. The woman worked part-time as a snake dancer. During this visit, the little darlings were taken out of the terrarium, and I had the insane experience of touching the snakes and even having them draped around my neck. And I was truly fascinated, both by the pattern and the tactile experience of the snake skin. There was a bit of shiver involved, I must confess. But it changed my relationship with these animals significantly. (Not applicable to venomous snakes!) I must add that the boyfriend at the time encouraged me verbally, but kept a rather low profile himself - though not with a snake.
There was also a sweet advertisement for mobile internet years ago: A young man is "visited" by a snake and wonders about the nature of the encounter. Answer via Google: constrictor snake. - These boas were 3 and 4 meters long; it could get very tight if the little snake finds someone unsympathetic... Very tight! But I still cherish my snake experience to this day. Confrontation therapy with good success.
Now to the scent. The tall bottle with the stylized pattern and the snake body on the spray nozzle is playfully delightful - naively charming.
And so it is - seemingly - with the little fragrance: A seduction by Eve in a whispering tone and lisping voice. She gets her Adam by playfully leading him to the tree of knowledge and seducing him. And the poor guy lets himself be led... She lisps - and knows what she wants. A determined person! And we all know how it goes from there. But just paradise would be boring. Besides, there is supposed to be clientele arriving that one would rather not encounter.
Cavalli's seductive juice starts pleasantly, almost girlishly innocent fruity-floral, the naughty little apple and magnolia. And it continues very sweetly; Evchen breathes and breathes, a delicately whipped floral mousse, and I could bet there's a bit of pepper in there, but it could also come from the rosemary. And what else has been added, we will never know. Adam scoops and scoops, getting completely dizzy from the patchouli addition and soft woods.
Really - a velvety soft yet energetically impactful scent, enveloping, not letting go, with a light sweetness and sophistication. Adam has lost, and that's a good thing. Life here is quite nice after all!
A fragrance for young women - and all with an Eve character.
