Could have been great

I was hesitant to try this perfume because of the D-list "celeb" tied to it. However, based on reviews elsewhere, coupled with an unbelievable price, it was worth a try ... and a sample became a purchase.

In an era of fragrances that are frequently too candy-like or too floral for me, this perfume is a delight. It can span seasons and is wearable on all days but the most extreme (too hot, too cold, too humid, etc.). I put it in the category of "safe," when you're neither sure of what to wear nor sure who you might offend (by fragrance). Safe from Paris? Yes. LOL

Unfortunately, it wasn't a keeper. I suffered from the dreaded headaches brought on by wearing this fragrance. It's a pleasant fragrance but terribly synthetic & low quality.

Had I kept the bottle, I would have scratched the name off the bottle - well, I tried - it didn't work. :p

Paris Hilton's first fragrance

I received this perfume as a gift for my 18th birthday, and admittedly I was not a fan. It's an odd fragrance in that it doesn't smell citrusy or sour, yet it isn't sweet either. It's more of a tart-like floral.

I have tried to like this scent, even forcing myself to wear it on various occasions. In some ways it reminds me of halved peaches in a can. Not something that I aspire to smell like. Many reviewers compare Paris Hilton to Ralph by Ralph Lauren. I can also detect some similarities between them, having owned them both in the past.

The lasting power is quite good, and the sillage average. I suppose Paris Hilton is rather refreshing and clean smelling, so I don't doubt that it will appeal to some. If I had to recommend this perfume, I would suggest it to teens seeing that it is inexpensive and fruity.

gives this vibe coffee and fruits
it has to grow on me before i like it or hate it but the only thing i love is the perfume design it reminds me if Doris Day whound wore if she was making on of those bedroom farses of the late 1950's in Paris Very French Looking

Here comes the FRUIT BOMB!

For a long time, I resisted. Against Paris Hilton and everything related to her.

I was still interested in her fragrances, but just because of the name, I never took a sniff.
At a perfumery, I received gift vouchers for Christmas and found absolutely nothing there. So I grabbed the Paris Hilton perfume; there was no tester available, and I got the 30ml bottle. (Plus, there was a -25% discount)

I immediately unpacked it at home and sprayed it on...
And Paris really knows how to surprise here - a very pleasant fruit bomb comes at you.
It clearly smells very much like melon, subtly but noticeably, the pleasant apple lingers in the background. After a few minutes, the melon quiets down a bit, and a hint of peach joins in.

The whole thing is so pleasantly fruity that you would want to bite into an apple or a melon right away. As soon as I smell this fragrance, images of countless apples, melons, and other fruits come to my mind.
Sure, the scent is sweet too; but that was to be expected.

I couldn't really notice any significant changes except that the peach comes in a bit later.

The scent remains as it smells at first - which is not a bad thing at all. And the longevity is incredible. I am really impressed because with many perfumes, you can't smell them after a few hours. But Paris stays. If you spray it in the morning, you can still smell a small but very distinct hint in the evening.

The only downsides are the name and the extremely cheap design of the bottle. Those "wave lines" are just on a sticker that can be relatively easily removed, and the packaging is actually quite nondescript - there, and especially there, I would have expected something more exclusive from a Paris Hilton.
But you can overlook that because the scent is truly great, and I like it very much.

In my opinion, this perfume is more suitable for spring/summer. The fruits create a mood that is more appropriate for these seasons.

The early 2000s...

that was my time, I was young, naive, and thought I knew what mattered in life. Now, 15 years later, I naturally think the same, but with the knowledge that my 15-years-older self will roll her eyes at such an assumption in 2035.
2005, the birth year of this fragrance from the then-ubiquitous and polarizing Paris Hilton, was for me the year of embarking on a new chapter in life. Until then, my life had followed a structured path; I was a model student, spending my afternoons either at the stable or studying. It would have never occurred to me to heed the calls of my classmates to stay up all night or attend any parties. Those were adult things, bad things that didn’t interest me and even scared me.
And then there was this neighbor boy, whom I fell head over heels for. I spent the entire summer of 2005 wanting to impress him. But he didn’t notice me. I tried to win him over with my looks, blow-drying my hair every day, with my words that were supposed to sound particularly cool, and last but not least, with my scent: Paris Hilton.
According to the popular girls' magazines, it was supposed to be aphrodisiac, convincing every man (or rather boy) that he belonged with you. I was desperate, really, I lost myself trying to convince this one person of my worth and...failed.
Now, when I think back to that time, I can’t help but smile and admit that it was somehow exciting. The rose-tinted glasses through which one likes to look back at the past make everything seem somehow more colorful than it actually was for me back then.
Today, I am glad that this boy wasn’t swayed by the sweet honeydew melon paired with fresh peach. Even the slowly emerging lily of the valley couldn’t win him over. Maybe it was too much, because the sillage was, in my opinion, extreme. Or maybe I just used too much, because what can I say, at 15 I lived by the motto: Less is more :D

Paris Hilton is a girl’s fragrance, light and carefree, fresh and sweet at the same time. It strongly reminds me of a drugstore scent, but it’s not as aggressively fruity as most "star fragrances." The fruity and sweet melon (even if not listed) and peach notes in the top note gradually give way to a powdery, gentle sweetness of the lily of the valley.
The scent is pleasant, fragrant for most of us, but it lacks character. It’s just for those girls who haven’t found their "self" yet, like I hadn’t back then.
