Pretty, parsley-ed roses
I think this brand, Parle Moi de Parfum, is a really good house for people starting out on their scent journey or for those who prefer simple, uncomplicated scents that are appropriate for the office. The scents are gorgeous and while unburdened by too many notes or stages, are still really well-blended and eloquent. The prices also won`t break the bank.

Back to Une Tonne de Roses/8, it`s true to all that was said above. A pretty bouquet of freshly bloomed roses, not too sweet, not too peppery, not too green; just right for a woman 20-40s to pull off and not feel too juvenile, à la Delina. There`s a slight parsley-like twinge that is there from the beginning and stays discreetly throughout, which is the patchouli. It`s a soft patchouli, not earthy, not heavy, not macho: just a young patchouli that is more like a little herb you`d toss in your salad. Medium projection and lasting power.

Polite roses
I'm not a big floral person so did not expect much from this free sample. At first sniff I was pleasantly surprised. The rose opening is polite, clean and more unisex than I expected. Then there's a wave of fruitiness (maybe berries or pear?) but it avoids developing into a saccharine cocktail that I associate with celebrity designer perfumes. Not much else happens and the rose slowly disappears into sweetness. Dry down has a hint of powder and musk. Very elegant, safe, simple but I don't imagine anyone would dislike this. Reminds me of a Jo Malone perfume but with more staying power.

The Young Sister of Chloe EDP
Yes, it is really similar to the sister. Both fragrances tell us about a young rose blooming somewhere on a higher snow-covered fairy mountain in crystal-clear air. The two scents are so alike and it cannot be otherwise, because they share the same father, like Michel Almairac :)
Une Tonne de Roses/8 is much more beautiful and wearable to my nose than the older sister #Chloe EDP. The number 8 behind the name shows us which trial the father was satisfied with regarding the fragrance. The correction was successful for my nose. The young sister
does not cause headaches, does not make me nervous, like #Chloe.

A Ton of Roses
Whether a ton of roses had to be used for this fragrance, I cannot say, but here the name is the program, and those who cannot relate to the scent of roses can confidently skip the test.

The pyramid is quite concise for all fragrances from the brand Parle Moi de Parfum, but right after spraying the scent, it quickly becomes clear that there are more notes at play than just roses and patchouli.

The opening is characterized by a slightly tart fruity note, which I perceive as a combination of blackcurrant and slightly unripe peach.

Almost stealthily, a rather bright and finely creamy rose takes over the reins, without completely overshadowing the fruity note. At this stage, the fragrance lingers for a good while.

In the dry down, the rose becomes a bit creamier and a touch earthy-sweet, which I want to attribute to the patch, but this scent note does not become too pronounced for me. What I perceived as wood in the first test has rather presented itself as a subtle resinous quality while wearing it. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in between, or my sense of smell is playing tricks on me again. :)

Une Tonne de Roses is, for my nose, an all-around beautiful and pleasantly wearable fragrance for almost any occasion, but while wearing it today, I realized that the scent does not suit me, at least not at the moment.

The longevity is about 8 hours for me, and the projection is rather restrained, which fits well with the fragrance.

Sensual beautiful rose scent with fine fruity acidity and a bright patchouli base, along with a hint of wood. Not overwhelmingly heavy but present.

For rose lovers, this is definitely a fine scent. Elegant, delicate, and modern. Unfortunately, I don't really connect with roses.

Airy, slightly too sweet rose, grounded by patchouli. Not bad, but I’ll stick with the rose scents from Les Parfums des Rosines.

Fresh natural roses with stems + leaves accompanied by zesty fruit. Grounded by beautiful patchouli. Noble, velvety, soft, creamy. Amazing!

Here, not only rose and patchouli were used. In the opening, I sense blackcurrant, and in the base, wood and a bit of resin. Lovely!

A quirky rose scent with a sharp fruity note in the heart: blackcurrant might be it. It brings a certain tension and freshness.

A sweet, relatively light rose scent, with fresh modern rose and noticeable patchouli. Can be overwhelming if overapplied!
