This funny and delightfully packaged fragrance of the British manufacturer has already been described here by many in detail. Some use the expression "sweet fir". Yes, I can agree with that, absolutely. But as a resident of the alpine foothills, I would like to suggest a more precise term: ZIRBE!!! Exactly THAT conifer is in play there for me. Develops a few minutes after spraying.
The Zirbe enjoys high reputation in the folklore - thus its smell is to guarantee among other things particularly restful sleep, which led to the fact that there is everything from the Zirben Duftöl for the Kapillarstäbchen over Zirbenholzschartenpolster up to the bedroom built completely from Zirbe in the alpine periphery. And one knows also a kultigen liquor, which is put on with - not completely simply to procuring - not yet completely ripe Zirbenzapfen. This is not only produced industrially, but is also the subject of fiercely contested competitions by amateur producers.
