So I'll just dive right in without an intro, like most people do here ^^
I own, like many probably do, the Acqua di Gio or at least almost everyone knows it. For me, the scent remains the one universally wearable fragrance! When my boyfriend came over recently, he smiled and said, "Guess which dupe this is," handing me the 360 Red. I actually didn't know it, even though I've come across plenty of dupes by now. My first thought: A) Why would you make a dupe of such a simple scent that is always available cheaply (with discounts & offers, etc.), and B) The bottle looks ugly haha.
Still, I smelled it and tested it without any bias.
It smelled so extremely synthetic at first that I could barely perceive the Acqua di Gio... Even after an hour, there wasn't really a noticeable difference in the dry down.
Conclusion: To me, the scent only smells like an extremely aquatic men's shower gel touch, which has nothing to do with Acqua di Gio aside from the aquatic aspect.
Aside from that, I really wonder why one would need a dupe here... The original doesn't cost much more and lasts quite okay, not like it used to, but still pretty decent.
Sure, 360° Red is a bit more synthetic. Personally, that doesn't bother me too much. I definitely smell some parallels. I compared both fragrances directly. In terms of longevity, it definitely beats the Armani. I could still smell the scent after a day at work. For price-performance, it far surpasses the Gio as well. I got the 360° with 200ml for under €30. Perfect for summer for me, even if it doesn't last as long on warmer days. Reapplying isn't a hassle.
It doesn't sound like you tested it without bias.
Price/performance (AdG - €50 / 360 - €20) is definitely better with the 360!
But "Unnecessary" is a fitting title for this comment ;)
