The better Acqua di Giò? Or just a good perfume!

Yes, the Perry Ellis 360° Red is deceptively similar to Armani's Acqua di Giò. Maybe it lacks the lightness and elegance of the AdG, but it has more substance and depth, I think. Also, the performance is definitely not worse, but rather better than the AdG.

If we leave all comparisons aside, it is ultimately a very beautiful (and cheap) fragrance for spring and summer, which always gives a good, sunny feeling. Personally, I even like to wear it in autumn to keep a summer holiday feeling for as long as possible.

Especially because of the not inconsiderable price difference to AdG, I can only warmly recommend 360° Red; at least for those who don't necessarily attach importance to the original, but just want to smell good...

Elegant freshness kick for the office
As a "freshness fan" I ordered this fragrance blind due to the comments and ratings here. Priced more than in the frame, 360° RFM of the US brand is not necessarily easy to get. But then it worked in the third attempt! :-) The colour red symbolises only in a few cases a fresh scent, mostly blue and white/transparent dominate this area. Not so with Perry Ellis, where colour and shape make the slim bottle a real eye-catcher.

The beauty of 360° RFM: Even the top note doesn't make me think of a typical aquatic à la Cool Water or citric spray à la Versace pour Homme. Although citrus fruits (which I like very much in themselves) set the tone here as well, carnation, nutmeg and cinnamon give them a pleasant springing and, so to speak, a spicy thrust, which is finely integrated into the harmonious composition. In the first seconds a little "clinically" smelling, 360° RFM remains clearly perceptible without being loud. In addition, I actually mean (and that means something to me) to perceive parsley. Not exactly the most famous aromatic herb, but cleverly embedded here.

The overall olfactory impression that emerges after a few minutes is retained from now on: an elegant freshness with moderate sillage, but quite a long shelf life. Attributes like "sensual", "beguiling" or "extravagant" are of course out of place here, but the freshness of 360° RFM stands out clearly from any shower gel thanks to the peppery spice in my nose. It is the ideal office companion from spring to autumn. For me no scent to "bathe in it", but one with a solid and serious external effect, without being directly associated with the boardroom ;-)

Dupe or no Dupe? That is the question!
There is no fragrance that has stayed in my memory and that I love as much as Armani's Acqua dio gio edt. For me, it still embodies the ultimate, a timeless, ever-walking aquarium. I associate so many memories with this fragrance that I could write a book about it. For many years it was a faithful companion and was always bought later. The last batch I owned was from 2015 and still shone with good durability. Unfortunately, this ingenious fragrance has undergone some reforms and is now only a shadow of its former self. Therefore I looked for an alternative for Acqua di gio and found it quite fast. Perry Ellis was not known to me until then and I was curious what to expect here. I have to admit that at first it was not easy for me to buy it blind, because I was deterred by the ridiculous and cheap looking bottle. But the positive reviews and curiosity won out in the end. When it arrived last weekend, I was really curious what to expect when I found it for the first time. By the way, I ordered the complete set consisting of shower gel, deodorant, 7,5ml and 100ml bottle. Now to the fragrance, when I first tracked it down I was pleasantly surprised how similar it is to its role model! But wait, in the background there is also something moving in the top note, which doesn't match the original. The prelude is accompanied by a fine, mild, sweet and spicy component that distinguishes it from Acd edt. Cinnamon and nutmeg give it a little bit of sweetness and the nutmeg a distinctive spiciness. This interaction makes it a little more independent and stronger than Acd and I find the prelude to kneel down. The more the scent develops towards the middle, the more it changes from Dupe to a unique scent that carries a touch of Acd DNA with it. I find the middle very exciting, because here a nice spice develops, which I have never smelled before. Bravo! The base is relatively difficult to describe, as it remains quite linear for me after the citrus fruits have died down and the cinnamon and nutmeg have set in. Parsley, lavender and the woods are too minimal for me to notice them? The fact is that this is a very beautiful and favourable scent, which shows a clear relationship to its model. Nevertheless, I find that in a certain way it is different. Of course in a positive sense! The durability is great measured by the price and four sprayers are rewarded with 6-8h durability. Fits! I can warmly recommend the fragrance and am happy that it is now part of my collection

Could be used for other things too....
I was looking for a good and cheap office fragrance that I can wear every day at any time of the year and that does not come across too obtrusive.

So I came across this "dupe" on the internet. As everyone here probably knows, it is supposed to smell like Acqua di Gio.
According to my nose, I would sign it so.

I was initially really skeptical about this fragrance. Of course, the price was the hammer - 200ML for under 30 €. But let's be honest, this flacon reminds then probably but something else.

Anyway, I ordered it then but and was really surprised. I can not smell many differences to Acqua di Gio.

For me, Perry Ellis is the perfect office fragrance. He does not hurt in the purchase, can also times nachsprühen, not too crass of the sillage, the durability is really great and compliments there were of the colleagues also already.

Here I take the ugly flacon, because what else is he not, for this price gladly in kauf if for it the content is so terrific.

be a kid again...
ANNO1998.

The school is out, we ran to the bus. Many of us took the shortcut over the lawn next door. It was always freshly mowed and still every day lush green. Arrived at the bus were already friends of mine, they talked about the rest of the day course. Inliner or bolt?
The bus door opened, quickly in the 5er, backpack on, straw in the Caprisonne orange and now was closing time. there is nothing better than in glorious sunshine in the summer to come home and to know today there is porridge with cinnamon. Dad was in the garden, he had the water hose on and played with our black shepherd dog Asta. He loved to snap at the water spray. The sound of snapping. The smell of summer, the freshness of the water, the smell of plants in their full juice, cinnamon notes and citrus aromas like only Caprieis could do when we were kids without being sweet and overbearing. 360 red you are not a dupe, you are memories. Memory for the man when he was a child. Experienced experience for the adult nose

My "go to beach" summer fragrance. Yeah it's cheap and synthetic but smells good fresh and sexy. And for the beach you don't need more.

Warm weather fresh fragrance that's entirely too synthetic. Fruity fragrance, sweet, but not overly so. Not as bad in the dry down.
