Gardener's delight
My grandparents had a walk-in pantry that I liked to browse in.
Behind a curtain was a shelf on which the soaps and fragrances were hidden.
As soon as I pulled the curtain to the side, a beguiling melange of scents was revealed.
I sniffed the soaps and bottles.
There was Grandma's Carat and Vent Vert - and Grandpa's Tabac Original, Sir Irish Moss and T2.
Grandpa's favourite place to stay was his well-kept garden - and I also found T2 to be a garden scent.
Fresh and green, framed by light woods - and some blossoms were still looking out.
This is how my grandpa smelled when he went into the garden to do some gardening in his blue overalls - and even more so when he entered the house again, because the natural green plant scents had interwoven with T2.
Satisfied after the work was done, Opi hissed a beer.
As the Chinese say:
If you want to be happy for 3 days - so give a feast -
you want to be happy for 3 years - so marry
but if you want to be happy for the rest of your life - order your garden.
