Aqaysos Pierre Guillaume 2017

Well, the first test was sobering. I was looking forward to the currant too much. Instead, there was a smoky smell. A day later, in warmer conditions, I suddenly had a revelation. Is this normal depending on the weather? Suddenly the currant shot out and accompanied the scent experience to the end. I was not disappointed after all. Coriander is easily recognizable as a spicy garnish and blends in well with the overall impression. However, I don't see the special freshness that is often postulated here. Nevertheless, it is a good companion for evening activities in midsummer. The sillage is not particularly remarkable, but I was pleasantly surprised by the longevity. Sprayed in the evening and noticed by other people the next day in the morning!
Now we come to the comparison with 2022 Generation Man. I was also allowed to test this one and a similarity came to mind. Not in the sense that they try to be identical, but individual elements can be traced back to both. While the SHL smells much darker and woodier, the Apaysos is the perfect counterpart for cooler days. Both have implemented the beautiful currant very well. I will probably have to get both in my possession after all :)
