Solid is not good enough for a fragrance with this price

Pierre de Velay No. 1 is the first fragrance I test from Pierre de Velay. The brand is not polarizing as Roja and probably because of that the brand has somehow passed me by unnoticed. No. 1 should change this, however. Yesterday it was finally time and I sprayed No. 1 carefully.

The top note works on me very smoky somehow, actually, no incense is included in the fragrance pyramid, but somehow I always have the feeling to smell this. The bergamot of the top note I smell unfortunately not at all. For me, somehow almost only the base note can be smelled permanently. I smell: Oud, saffron, labdanum. Patchouli, leather, cypriol, woods and a slight floral component, which probably comes from the heart note. I can also detect a very slight sweetness of vanilla. Unfortunately, I find it a bit disappointing here that the scent somehow only consists of the base notes. No. 1 is simply nothing new or special, it is the typical oud, saffron and vanilla combination which I have smelled so many times before. No. 1 does have a slight twist due to the other notes, but unfortunately that's not enough for me. The fragrance is clearly behind my expectations, here I just do not recognize a fragrance that should cost almost 600 €. Here I would have expected more.
The durability is with something over 10 hours but in the good range. The Silage I find but something zuürckhaltend and with me even something under an arm's length, but this Silage No. 1 keeps but almost for 10 hours.
