im smelling this next to the original pink sugar rn. yes, this is missing the licorice note, which I'm happy about. though I thought the licorice in pink sugar had a minty quality, I was wrong. this one doesn't have the licorice but it does have the minty note. i like everything else. the mint just reminds me of cough drops .................. it is in Soft by al rehab too, which is supposed to dupe the original ps. am I the only one smelling it? what combination of notes is making it minty?

from a distance, it smells mostly like cherry and cotton candy. its not cloyingly sweet(to me), but it is sweeter than the original.

this one has weaker sillage than the original.

Blue Raspberry Ring Pop

Imagine you have the original Pink Sugar, and add some slightly sour blue raspberry candy to it, maybe pop rocks, a pixi stick, a ring pop, or even a blue raspberry soda. You now have Pink Sugar Berry Blast. I don’t detect any changed to the original DNA, just the addition of a very candy-like blue raspberry, maybe even a slight cherry and grape. I don’t necessarily get blueberry from it, and no strawberry.

Compared to something like Bath & Body Works Blueberry Bundt Cake, they’re quite different. Both very sweet and ethyl maltol bombs, but with the latter having a cakey almond and vanilla base that is completely lacking in Berry Blast.

This scent is very early to late 2000s coded to me with the nostalgic blue razz candy mixing with ultra sweet pink sugar! It’s not something I’d wear or buy a full bottle of, but it’s fun to test out for a sugar rush throwback.

This is not a bakery gourmand type scent to me at all. It’s very much a crunchy sugar candy, no flour or butter to be found.

Sugar-sweet berries with lots of synthetics

I bought the fragrance and another one quite cheaply second-hand. I wanted to understand why Pink Sugar is so viral.

In the opening, Berry Blast Eau de Toilette is sweet, berry and fresher than the others. However, there is something in here that stings my nose. I also smell this note in Creamy Sunshine Eau de Toilette and in Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette. I can't define it. Sweet and biting somehow. It wears off in the DD after 30 to 40 minutes.

Unfortunately, the berries fade just as quickly. It simply remains synthetically sweet on the skin. And unfortunately not for long. After about 2 hours, there is nothing left to smell on my skin (for me) or on my clothes.

It's possible that I simply become smell-blind with the fragrance...

Unfortunately, it didn't convince me.

So much better than the original

Sure, it is the similarity to the original not to deny, but I find this flanker much more pleasant on the skin. Comes with the original and my skin the licorice note much too strongly out, are here the delicious blueberries in the center. It smells like delicious blueberry muffins. Layered with other scents that contain berries or fruits, the base of the scent gives the 2nd scent super staying power! I think this scent is perfect for any time of year (after all, you can always eat blueberry muffins)?. Pimped with citrus scents in spring / summer or vanilla gourmands in autumn / winter, the fragrance always goes and is changeable
