Berry Blast Pink Sugar 2020 Eau de Toilette

Imagine you have the original Pink Sugar, and add some slightly sour blue raspberry candy to it, maybe pop rocks, a pixi stick, a ring pop, or even a blue raspberry soda. You now have Pink Sugar Berry Blast. I don’t detect any changed to the original DNA, just the addition of a very candy-like blue raspberry, maybe even a slight cherry and grape. I don’t necessarily get blueberry from it, and no strawberry.

Compared to something like Bath & Body Works Blueberry Bundt Cake, they’re quite different. Both very sweet and ethyl maltol bombs, but with the latter having a cakey almond and vanilla base that is completely lacking in Berry Blast.

This scent is very early to late 2000s coded to me with the nostalgic blue razz candy mixing with ultra sweet pink sugar! It’s not something I’d wear or buy a full bottle of, but it’s fun to test out for a sugar rush throwback.

This is not a bakery gourmand type scent to me at all. It’s very much a crunchy sugar candy, no flour or butter to be found.

im smelling this next to the original pink sugar rn. yes, this is missing the licorice note, which I'm happy about. though I thought the licorice in pink sugar had a minty quality, I was wrong. this one doesn't have the licorice but it does have the minty note. i like everything else. the mint just reminds me of cough drops .................. it is in Soft by al rehab too, which is supposed to dupe the original ps. am I the only one smelling it? what combination of notes is making it minty?

from a distance, it smells mostly like cherry and cotton candy. its not cloyingly sweet(to me), but it is sweeter than the original.

this one has weaker sillage than the original.

The opening is forest fruits in a rather mild, sweet form—more like jam than fresh berries. Over time, these notes soften, giving way to a warm, enveloping sweetness of vanilla in sugar. On the skin, the scent is ethereal, but on fabric, it wraps in a veil of pleasure and comfort throughout the day.

Soft caramel-vanilla fudge filled with an intensely aromatic blue and wild strawberry filling. Wrapped in a delicate citrus layer of bergamot-orange icing. Above it falls a cloud of cotton candy. On it hovers the fresh zest of a tonka bean with light hints of rum aroma gently descending.

If you can now recall the aromas of this sweet treat, you already have a very accurate idea of what olfactory experience this fragrance will bestow upon you.
This scent is everything I have always wished for in a true gourmand fragrance: sophistication.
Where Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum and "La Vie est Belle L'Eau de Parfum | Lancôme" couldn't fully captivate me with their rather simple sweetness, "Berry Blast | Pink Sugar" fills exactly the gaps in fragrance notes that give a scent that certain something and thus its uniqueness.
Berry Blast skillfully breaks the extreme sweetness of the cotton candy with a citrus top note of bergamot and orange. The citrus acidity brings balance to the extreme sugary quality without stealing the show from the intense berry aromas. The wild strawberry has a particularly intense aroma. Anyone who has ever enjoyed it will have noticed the distinct difference from the common supermarket strawberry. The strawberry aroma is naturally implemented here without a hint of synthetic scent. Absolutely successful, and I'll describe it this way: Candied, crunchy, slightly caramelized sugar breaks under your greedy bite and releases the aromas of blue and wild strawberry.
The strong base of vanilla and dark, powerful tonka bean adds weight and intensity to the fragrance. Thanks to its aromas, "Berry Blast | Pink Sugar" stands out clearly from an endless mass of forgettable, fleeting sugary water fragrances. If the base had been solely musk and a bit of wood, this perfume probably wouldn't have grabbed me so much.

The longevity has impressed me greatly. After a whopping 10 hours, I can still distinctly smell the fragrance with all its berry and base aromas on my skin. The scent progression is linear and stable like a steel beam.
The sillage is beast mode. Colleagues have already inquired about what I was wearing. I myself can also enjoy a sugary-aromatic scent cloud for hours, wafting into my nose again and again throughout the day.
The bottle is a disaster. To be honest, I find it simply ugly, kitschy, and it gives off a cheap impression. I will hide it somewhere behind a cabinet door, as prestige is not exactly what it radiates. However, I buy perfumes for the content and not because I want a decorative object. So I’ll just close both eyes tightly here.

Never before have I experienced such outstanding performance in such an inexpensive fragrance. Some brands could take a page from this.
The price-performance ratio is one of the best I have ever rated.
But before you eagerly hit the order button, ask yourself: Can I enjoy candied, glazed cotton candy dusted with powdered sugar? Because this fragrance is also one of the sweetest scents I have ever smelled. One should be aware of that. "Berry Blast | Pink Sugar" is, after all, an extreme dessert scent. A true gourmand that screams: Here I am!

The opening is mega sweet and sticky, to be honest.
Super sweet blueberry with a bit of bitterness, no idea where that comes from. Something comes out that is totally unpleasant.
Maximally great for small children, that's what I thought.
It takes about 40 minutes, then the scent becomes more pleasant.
Less sticky, no more bitterness or unpleasantness.
Now it's a blueberry muffin that somehow gets into my head like still a children's scent.
But then it transforms and smells until the end like Acqua e Zucchero, which I find very, very delicious.
Sillage is good, especially for the price.
You have to endure the first 45 minutes where it's not so great, but then it becomes super!
