Spring Dress Scent
As a teenage girl, you have your role models. There are wild girls who seem to do whatever they want. There are cool girls who appear to walk a straight path and are unbothered by anything. And then there are those other delicate girls who exert a kind of magic over others. Those are the girls who go to the school ball in their floral spring dresses and attract all the attention.

When I was a girl, I admired those spring dress girls. Yes, I wanted to be wild and cool too (and maybe I was??) and I also wore the spring dress from time to time. But I was never that consistent about it.

This scent is clearly the scent of the floral dress for me. It is delicate yet present. Fresh, but also warm. Consistent in its appearance. It starts with a lot of floral notes and a light freshness, then transitions into a pleasant sweet warmth - only to linger for a long time and bid farewell with a hint of vanilla.

I feel good wearing this fragrance. But just like back then - not for every day. Only now and then do I want to be the romantic girl. And then the scent is simply perfect.

My Daydream Scent
This fragrance is one of my latest acquisitions, thanks to a dear perfumer. A very beautiful one, too.
Those who count soft and noble scents among their favorites will not be able to overlook this one. I had a sample of it and was immediately fascinated in some way.

Very soft, creamy, and elegant, Sceau de Coeurs envelops the wearer in airy, floral, delicate scent clouds. It may sound too fine and delicate, but it is not.
The perfume is, although it is so delicate on one hand, also very sensual and present, but in a subtle way.
I can hardly recognize the hawthorn; it gives just the right dose of spice so that everything doesn’t come across as too sweet and artificial. The flowers do not shout, "Here I am," and the vanilla-creaminess just rounds it off.
All together, it smells like a very high-quality face cream of the exclusive kind.
However, Sceau de Coeurs is still wearable every day, no worries.
The bottle is a gem in any collection, just not very easy to handle; for example, if you want to decant it, it gets tricky.
Well, I would have been willing to give more percentage points here, as the scent is dreamy, but I find it somewhat lacking in intensity and longevity.
But I still find Sceau de Coeurs beautiful.
Addendum November 7, 2012:
I must change my remark regarding longevity, as this fragrance has been in my possession for some time now. It lasts very well and long, but indeed close to the skin and softly, and I am learning to appreciate this scent more and more.
Therefore, I rate it from 70% to 80%.

Nothing to write home about
When young people in the USA leave their home, parents, and friends at around 18 years old to go to the college of their choice (or the one they were selected for), they are often nervous, as it is the first time they are alone and usually far from home. Parents are no less anxious about letting their children go. And so, in earlier times, much was often written about how the courses are, how the professors and fellow students are, etc. However, if everything was very average, predictable, and completely unexciting, it simply wasn't reported back home. Indeed: nothing to write home about.
And that's exactly how I feel about SdC. The opening is floral and sweet and lasts moderately long. It transitions harmoniously into the heart note, where I can detect the Frangipani, which I appreciate very much, light, fragrant, and delicately accompanied by Freesia. Gradually, it moves into a warm and creamy amber-musk base. All very nice and pleasant, but indeed: nothing to write home about!
I only have a sample, so I can only judge the bottle based on the Parfumo image and the website, and I have never held it in my hand. However, I find it looks rather cheap, and my enthusiasm for it is limited.
The scent reminds me of Attimo by Salvatore Ferragamo (which is more intense than SdC) and Weekend by Burberry (with this one being the longest-lasting of the three).
I always have a light "floral scent" in my repertoire because I come into contact with many people and need to adapt to various olfactory tastes. From this perspective, my go-to everyday scent will likely continue to be Weekend by Burberry.

The bottle has captivated me!
When I ordered from Essenzia Nobile for the first time, I thought about which samples to choose. I ended up selecting Lua by XerJoff and Sceau de Cours by Poiray. However, the inscription on the latter was so poorly done that I couldn't read it for a long time, and so the spray tester sat next to me on the desk the whole time. Until today, when I had the revelation of opening the EN page and seeing the bottle again. I then relabeled it and of course tried it out immediately.

The opening is fresh, although I found it quite synthetic, and sweet. This impression lasts for about 20 minutes for me. Then, however, this unpleasant synthetic note fades away and the white flowers of the heart note make their appearance. None of them push forward, but they create a beautiful white trio - like three virgin brides.

The hawthorn adds a slightly bitter note, which is caught by the hazelnut and thus does not drift into the harsh. Because there is still a certain sweetness present, which I personally do not like so much. It is not a floral or honey sweetness, but rather the sweetness of industrial sugar; white and tasteless.

However, the heart note reconciles me with the fragrance, as here it becomes round, soft, creamy, and beautiful. Amber and cedarwood lay the foundation, while musk, praline, and vanilla provide the now very pleasant sweetness and softness.

If this synthetic note in the top and heart were not present, I would really like the fragrance and it would surely be a candidate for purchase. As it stands, I will limit myself to the sample and make it available for interested parties in the Souk.

The bottle is still beautiful, but spending so much money just for the bottle is not for me. I want to use all my treasures.

Floral, fresh, synthetic, soapy. I don't find it sweet at all. Not bad, but there's an irritating note that bothers me. Very long-lasting.

Unfortunately a bit too prickly and white-floral for me. Not floral-sweet at all - the white bouquet overpowers everything... sorry to the lovers.
