Fresh floral
Sometimes celebrity perfumes can turn out really great. I am particularly fond of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Covet and Lovely, and when I am in the mood for it I wear Elizabeth Taylor’s Black Pearls.
This has been in my collection for many years, but I have never worn it, just tested a long time ago. Doing my tour de force testing365 I stumbled upon it in one of my boxes. And I must admit: it is not bad at all. Luckily for Priscilla Presley, the noses who have helped or inspired her have done a great job.
It is a truly delicious floral fragrance, light, fresh and green. Even with the many notes in the base it never turns heavy or cloying. It keeps a quite elegant tone and is easily worn on many occasions. I find it delicious. It is not loud but that suits the scent. The sillage is pretty close to the skin.
I like the bottle done by Mauro Caputo. It looks great on the shelf.
