Summer
Aqua, the water, is the fourth element of the collectiom I'm testing. When I sprayed on the fragrance, I immediately got a maximum feeling of freshness. Yes, it might come mainly from the ambroxan, which is the foundation of the scent. Rose and bergamot are well noticeable and add a further level of depth and freshness.
A picture of a restaurant near the sea comes to my mind. I´m sitting outside on the terrace, with a cold drink, next to me stands a flowering rose bush in a huge clay pot. Notes of driftwood carried from the sea with a breeze. The wood of the terrace and the furniture breathes in the sun. A slight ozone note mixes with it.
Aqua is by far the freshest fragrance of the element collection and although, I am always a little cautious about ambroxan fragrances, I really like this one very much. It is a fresh-woody visit to the sea on a sunny day.
