I immediately think of a dry coastal plateau: a Mediterranean grove high above the sea on the Croatian-Serbian coast. I once spent time there alone at the hour of Pan, feeling surrounded and whispered to by ancient classicism. A rare, seemingly timeless moment! It was very hot, and the ground crackled. Were those snakes in the low underbrush? It was an archaic grove with a sensational view over the sea into the distance... it smelled of woody citrus...
A good, somewhat monotonous scent with pleasant smoke, dry flowers (I only smell the geranium a little) and nice spices. A bit more Lapsang Souchong tea would have been great for sure :-)
I don't know it at all yet.
But I've heard the house is quite expensive.
