Unfortunately no Oud and nothing animalistic
Anyone expecting Oud will be disappointed. I also cannot understand the naming. Here is the fragrance pyramid from the internet - Top: Rose, Cinnamon, Middle: Incense, Patchouli, Base: Vanilla, Tonka, Benzoin, Oud.
The opening strongly resembles clove, with something woody and very sweet in the background. There is no development of the scent. Perhaps the fragrance also reminds one of damp wood; it may be that the perfume suits better in warm temperatures and high humidity. I believe I have smelled this scent somewhere as a child, possibly at my grandma's or mother's house. It feels quite familiar to me. I do not find it suitable for a man. The test took place in February 2024.
If you are looking for a strong animalistic Oud scent, you will find it in Oud Burmi by Al Waseef, which truly smells of country air.
Addendum 20.02.24: at my mom's it smells completely different: very fruity and woody, less clove - suits her much better :-)
