A "blue magic"... or does Normandy smell like this?
A cool wind sweeps through the field near the sea! The grain is interspersed with blue flowers. A "weed" is what a somewhat ignorant large farmer would probably call it. But for the small farmers in northern France, it’s not the slightest problem, rather a sight to behold and a sign of healthy soil.
Right nearby are lavender fields. A slightly coarser smelling variety that thrives in the corresponding climate. And then there’s the eternal "song of the waves" as they crash against the rugged cliffs of the coast.
This is how I imagine a little "paradise" for weather-resistant and fragrance-loving vacationers who prefer to hike through landscapes rather than lie on the beach. Because this part of the world has so much to offer olfactorily as well. The sharp scents of sea lavender mingle with those of pine and lavender. In damp hollows, there are fine mints to sniff. And the weather ranges from a brilliantly blue sky to high cirrus clouds, all the way to harsh but short-lived dark rain clouds along with their discharge. Which in turn evokes "new" scents. The scent of damp grasses, of salt that the wind drives from the sea to the land.
A "blue magic" that awakens dreams. And makes one long for the "rugged Normandy"! A play of blue tones in many shades!

So truly deep blue ...!
Take a seat, Mr. Jeheimrat!
Well, it's about time you honored my little salon again!
Shall we start ...? A shave perhaps ...?
Of course, but right away ...

Coffee? Cream?

So, with this weather, even a hairdressing cape is too much, wouldn't you agree?
But it can't be helped, otherwise I'd get you all covered in shaving foam. It would be a shame for those nice light linen trousers. By the way, they look quite excellent on you, I can assure you.

Where was I ...?
Oh right, weather, heat, sun ...
That brings me to early summer and the topic of vacation.
Has Mr. Jeheimrat already decided where to go this time ...?
Not yet?

Well, you are always traveling anyway, if I see it right ...
Yes, I completely agree with you. Sometimes we just have to stay at home, otherwise all that traveling becomes a bit tiresome.

What do you mean ...?
Well, I think we can consider ourselves lucky that we have such a summer again in our northern latitudes. Berlin is already in southern Sweden ...
No, you are right, we shouldn't complain.
I always say, coriander, I always say, it’s not absolutely necessary to wander around the world. One can also sit at home in one's own garden when the weather is nice.
Ah yes, when I look through the old conifers that border the garden on both sides ... it is truly extraordinary, such a large forest right behind the fence ... and then the lake in the middle ...
And it smells ...

So, if you could please turn your nose this way, then I can also get to the side of your esteemed character head with the scissors ... so, and now the same on the other side ...

Where was I?
Oh right, old conifers, forest, and water ...
I never would have thought it, but in summer heat, it's almost like being in Italy.
You see, Mr. Jeheimrat, I thought so. There can be no two opinions about it. He likes Italy just as much as I do.

Oh yes, Trudchen is always quite delighted, with all that lovely heat and the sun and the sea ...
They call the conifers there pines. However, there are also a lot of cypresses around, as I have seen. That is a scent, I am always in and out ...

How do you like it?
Well, I thought you would be just as enthusiastic. I know that you often travel to Italy ... more in the south, if I understood that correctly.

I now have my little garden, and I am always thrilled when I sit in the hammock and enjoy Trudchen's gooseberry pie ...
By the way, may I offer you a piece of it, Mr. Jeheimrat? Fresh ...!

So, here you go, please enjoy ...

Where was I?
Oh right, my little garden, Italy, cypresses ...
If you can’t make it to the sunny south, you can mentally transport yourself there in no time.
I have a cousin, and well, that’s not so important right now. Just so much - he is just as crazy about perfumes as I am.
He recently let a fragrance pass by me that he brought from Italy.
At first, I was a bit skeptical because I thought I had already experienced everything there is to experience. Citrus is always included, bergamot and all that jazz.
Coriander, I said to myself, coriander, what could possibly be new, what could be surprising?

But I was greatly mistaken.
This little water is a cloud!
It doesn’t start with bergamot this time, but first comes a little alcoholic mist that dissipates immediately, and then there’s a wonderful sunny, but somehow slightly bitter lemon.
Yes, I can whisper to you, it starts with the heat!
But that’s not all ...

Along with the lemon, something very cautiously green comes in, as if you were finally allowed to step out of the sun into the shade.
That can only be the cypress! And it is so finely dark green, spicy, almost salty, but just so discreet that it doesn't really stand out, and everyone wonders what makes the scent so different and unusual ...
And now comes the surprise - a very light, but fresh and slightly sharp mint joins in.
No, don’t get me wrong about the sharpness! It is noble, it makes the whole thing truly unique.
So the top note, as we connoisseurs call it, has lemon, cypress, and mint.
This is beautiful, this is really beautiful!

How do you like it, Mr. Jeheimrat ...?
Well, I mean it! It’s as if you were strolling somewhere in the middle of the cypresses. No one around, everything quiet, it’s midday, a few old crickets chirping as if they were being paid for it ... And then a light, cool breeze from the sea that lies at your feet ...

No, no, I can assure you. No, it stays like this, nothing will change. But yes, this is just right! This little water is blue, truly blue, like a summer sky over the Tschinke Terre!
That’s why it’s called Indakoh, which means "Indigo".
This is a perfume that has built up an Italian feeling with a bang, I can whisper that to you!

So, just a moment, I’ll relieve you of this hairdressing bib ... better like this?
Of course ...
You see, with this weather, a proper short haircut for a gentleman of the world is worth its weight in gold!
Where was I ...?

Oh right, Italian feeling and bang ...

Then it continues with a bit of jasmine and cornflower, but I must admit, I couldn’t perceive much of that. Lemon?
Yes, definitely, that remains. Very fresh, but discreet.
It runs through the whole development.
And the mint and the cypress too. The latter becomes noticeably stronger over time, but everything within reasonable limits. It feels a bit as if they had grated in one or another pine cone. This is the crux of the matter!
I like it, I like it extraordinarily!

Then lily and musk should come in, but ... well, I see it this way - it remains with the mentioned aromas.
This is a very, very pleasant bouquet!
Nothing sweet, everything fresh with a delicate bitter nuance.

You see, and that’s how I create my Italian vacation in my garden.
And it has the advantage that I always have my beloved gooseberry cake at hand ...

Now I’ve rambled on again.
But of course, you can try this little water!
I have the bottle at hand.

Look, a sturdy cube made of glass really makes an impression, don’t you think ...?
And that nice label in blue and the cool blue cap ... yes, it is solid and well made.
You immediately get a longing for Bella Italia ...

So, let me spritz you a bit.
Another spray on the other hand? Of course, but right away ...
Well ...?
Isn’t that fantastic?!

Yessss, this is lovely heat of the finest kind, am I right?
No, I feel the same way, I can’t remember anything similar in this form that I have had under my nose.
Fresh, really cool, and as I find, unusual.
But good, really good!
And it lasts too ... you can count on it lasting for hours.

Well, I’m glad that you and I are of the same opinion.
Glad to be of service!

I always say to myself, coriander, I always say to myself, you have to offer something to the discerning clientele!
After all, my little salon has a reputation to uphold ...

Most sincere thanks, Mr. Jeheimrat!
Coriander always at your service!
Do honor me again soon!
And many greetings to your wife!

Citrus-mint scent with floral and spicy notes and a distinctly powdery base. Becomes addictive only after the second wear.

Fresh like a sea breeze, herb-green - lemon, a bit of sharp, subtle mint, and dominant cypress. Unusual, beautiful, long-lasting.

Wonderful scent of sea, lemon, and nature. I also smell a bit of lavender and something reminiscent of playdough. It's something really special.

Very floral and unfortunately, quite synthetic, which is in stark contrast to the brand's actual image. Tends to be more feminine than unisex.
