Yacht club for the poor
If you look at the fragrance pyramid, you might think it's something...
I also followed this thought. The result: a fallacy!

For me, the Yacht Club disappoints across the board and couldn't be more boring.
Well, it's affordable in terms of price, but apart from that I can't find much positive to review here.

To my nose, there is very little to smell specifically.
A slightly citrusy base, over which a cheap-looking cardamom and amber cocktail then pours out.
All of this is ensnared by a synthetic that finishes the whole thing off.
Absolutely no twist, no charm, nothing special.
Evil tongues would boldly express that this is a 0-8-15 fragrance in the color blue, which you can find in any drugstore, mostly on the lowest shelves.

I don't know what the fragrance wants to be and I don't know what it needs to be for.
I really like fresh and blue fragrances and rarely go so hard on them, but that remains an option for me here.

The fragrance wants to end on a miserably sweet, slightly woody base.
If anything, I see this fragrance on a teenager, certainly not in a yacht club.

Longevity is moderate, around 5-6 hours, silage moderate.

Nothing special, but still beautiful!
Yacht Club doesn't do anything very special, but what this fragrance does, it never does badly. Quite the opposite!
I like it. It's also definitely well received on the outside. A classic designer DNA, that's what I call it.

Nevertheless, Yacht Club has a relatively cool twist to these fresh, citrusy and initially spicy vibes. Slight coconut associations come across and not too little for me! The coconut note lingers until the end.
Of course, it's not a coconut gourmand that makes you think of Raffaello or anything else. A different kind of coconut is meant!

Someone wrote that they recognized certain parallels to Boss Bottled Pacific and I can confirm that. I had the same impression.

The fragrance starts with that familiar fresh flair from designer perfumes. However, this fresh flair is quite spicy! Some cardamom and probably the pepper leaf make sure of that.

For me, this pleasant coconut vibe comes through relatively quickly. The spiciness also recedes somewhat.
I get the coconut vibes right to the end! Towards the end, it becomes very subtly woody for me.

I found the performance to be good! The longevity here is 6 and I wonder why?
This thing lasts 8-10 hours on me

Rounded Boss Bottled Pacific
I recently tested the Boss Bottled Pacific, so I immediately noticed the similarity between the two fragrances. If you ignore the coconut note, it's almost the same fragrance for me. The fragrance smells pleasant and definitely gives you summer vibes. Compared to Boss Bottled Pacific, there is no salt here, which makes the fragrance less heavy. Overall, this also makes it a little rounder, which is likely to have a positive effect on the feedback. Salty fragrances generally cause divided opinions anyway, as they smell differently depending on the skin type. Otherwise, the fragrance smells mainly citrusy and fresh, which is always perfect for summer. You can also smell some spicy notes, but these are more in the background. As I said, the fragrance is super round and ultimately without any rough edges. Of course, the same can also be criticized about the fragrance, as it is ultimately the less interesting version of Boss Bottled Pacific. To sum up, the fragrance is good but a little generic. Perhaps a quick word about the bottle: it looks good, but the lid doesn't come off very easily. However, as the fragrance is not particularly expensive, we could still recommend buying it for the summer. Speaking of summer, as far as the season is concerned, I would only wear the fragrance in spring and summer. In the fall or winter, such a citrusy-fresh fragrance does not fit perfectly. In addition, the sillage is rather mediocre.
