The spirit of ancient Egypt
Well, "scheming" isn't that scent. Rather unusually mysterious. Just like the young pharaoh's well-researched life today. A mixture of deep dark mysticism, glistening desert sun and lush green along the Nile.
No easy task for me, despite "trained nose", to describe the fragrance.
What stands out are myrrh and cypress, two fragrances that could not be more different. The former is at home in dry-hot areas and its aroma is resinous-balsamic.
The cypress has a deep green "coniferous".
But both together is very interesting and quite compatible.
Then the other ingredients also have a wise word to say. The spices, also contrasting, cinnamon and pepper, give off a warm, almost shimmering "desert sun note", like heated sand.
The composition of the perfume is just as "inventive and clever" as the ancient Egyptians were.
The individual aromas have been combined in such a way that there is a "whole", although the individual scent blocks can often be identified exactly.
Nevertheless, "Ankh- Tutankhamen's Aroma of Intrique" is a kind of mystery, which the perfumers probably also intended.
