Successful Blind Buy and Creamy ≠ Powdery
Even though I keep telling myself to stay away from blind buys, sometimes I just crave something new and unknown, and I order without testing beforehand. Since this fragrance is an absolute bargain, I didn't have to think long about it.

I read in the forum that it is a dupe for Armani Code Cashmere. I don't know that one, but it was described as creamy, and that attribute attracts me like light attracts moths. Additionally, I quite like the original Armani Code pour Femme Eau de Parfum, so I thought, at this price, you can't go wrong.
And what can I say: The blind buy was a complete success!

The fragrance starts with a lot of fruity orange blossom and jasmine; the similarity to Armani Code pour Femme Eau de Parfum is unmistakable. The top note already puts me in a good mood, but it's not really extraordinary (well, how could it be).
After about an hour, the iris makes its way, and I briefly feared that I might have made a mistake. Iris has the property of being very powdery in my nose, and I'm not particularly fond of powdery scents.
For me, there is a big difference between powdery and creamy. Powdery has something dry about it, and I associate it with body or makeup powder. Creamy, on the other hand, has something fatty about it, like whipped cream or body lotion.
I don't know exactly how to achieve this tactile scent impression; I just know that I can perceive it distinctly. (By the way, scents described as creamy must measure up to Signature Eau de Parfum, which is wonderfully creamy and serves as my reference point).

Thank goodness (for me) this powdery note doesn't last long, and almond milk takes over. Creaminess, here I come! I can also faintly sniff a hint of leather, but it's very soft, light, not at all intrusive, and really just a whisper. This prevents the fragrance from drifting into insignificance. The scent notes are very balanced; nothing stands out or disturbs, and for the next 6 hours, I am enveloped in a warm, cozy, sweet (but not overly sugary) fragrance that is simply comforting.
Even my boyfriend lets out a satisfied grunt for Club for her (which in Northern German translates to a storm of enthusiasm), and he is usually very critical.

Club for her has catapulted itself straight to the top of my "Easy Grabs," a fragrance that always fits, is never too intrusive, and is just incredibly uncomplicated. In warm weather, I probably wouldn't wear it, as I'm more in the mood for tea, citrus, or other fruits, but winter is still long, so I will likely reach for it often until April. Another plus: The sillage and longevity are really quite satisfactory for a fragrance in this price range. In short, I am super happy with my blind buy and look forward to a cozy winter with Club for her.

Fragrance Twin of Armani Code Cashmere
I recently received a sample of Armani Code Cashmere and the scent enchanted me immediately. Unfortunately, production has been discontinued, and since I wasn't that hooked yet, I wasn't ready to pay an extreme amount of money for one of the remaining bottles. But I was a bit hooked after all.

Maybe a strange comparison, but a junkie who has been using drugs for years probably goes to the dealer and is willing to pay a bit more for their favorite substance when it is scarce. A newbie, who just happened to try their first hit out of curiosity and is now noticing mild withdrawal symptoms, might rather wander into drug counseling and ask what they can do.

Said and done. I confidently turned to the fragrance consultation in the forum and asked if anyone might know of a "replacement drug." And I was wonderfully advised. LuckyLisa then recommended Club for her. I must admit that I initially had some reservations; I just couldn't imagine that a scent that is so clearly cheaper than the original could be just as good.

I'll keep it short: today I wore Armani Code Cashmere on my left arm and Club for her on my right arm. The scent development was 99% identical to my nose, actually more like 99.5%. I kept sniffing, and there was only one sniff where I felt that Club for her was minimally (!) creamier in the heart note. Minimal. Otherwise, both scents developed identically, and even the longevity is 1:1 the same.
I have often sniffed dupes at friends' places that supposedly smell like fragrance xy. Sometimes I do recognize similarities, but often I smell clear differences. I recently explained this in the review of Dior Addict using vanilla as an example: vanillin contains a selection of the scent components of real vanilla, enough to trick the brain into thinking something smells or tastes like vanilla. However, when compared to a real vanilla pod, it quickly becomes clear that it has a much broader spectrum of aromas - my palate is very picky and prefers to invest in real vanilla because it simply tastes better to me.

I usually feel the same way about dupes: they often smell similar (and not necessarily bad), but usually, the pleasant feeling that my nose experiences when sniffing the original scent does not occur. Presumably, there are simply too few aromatic compounds present, and my limbic system is not sufficiently stimulated to create that pleasant feeling.

With Club for her, it's completely different. I sniff the same as with Code Cashmere and have the same warm, cozy feeling; I feel sexy and embraced. I find it unbelievable, but I am very enthusiastic.
I will also test the other recommendations; I am very grateful for the lovely support in the thread. For the moment, I can only recommend to anyone looking for a replacement for Code Cashmere to at least give this a sniff.

Orange blossom and heliotrope-iris powder with a crunchy almond twist. The scent is nice, but it's too sweet-floral-powdery and heavy for me.

Subtle blooms of orange and jasmine with almond, warm, soft, creamy, not too sweet, a go-to and P/L winner, like a luxury body lotion.

Armani Code Cashmere Vibes is absolutely wonderful, becoming a bit milder, rounder, softer, creamier, and more almondy. A floral-powdery cozy scent with an elegant touch.

I don't know the Cashmere. It smells similar to Armani Code Satin and LVB Eclat to me. Great scent - doesn't smell cheap.

Uhh so seductive & sexy with a beautiful creamy O-flower. Psst, it gives Armani Code Cashmere serious competition.
