A Trussardi in Arabic Garb
If you take Hanuta, jasmine, sweet and viscous tuberose syrup, woody notes, and musk, put it all in a pot and stir vigorously, then "Le Vie di Milano - Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II | Trussardi" comes out for me. So far, so good.
That something quite similar hides behind "Caramel Oud / كراميل عود | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" I would not have believed at first. Maybe also because the name suggests something entirely different. But we already know the random name roulette from brands like Zara…

In the opening of "Caramel Oud / كراميل عود | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية," I am greeted by an alcoholic note, not biting, rather already liqueur-like, like caramel or hazelnut cream liqueur. Mixed with the aforementioned Hanuta, including finely roasted hazelnut, cocoa cream between two crunchy wafers, jasmine, viscous and sweet and… wait… also tuberose? Can that really be? But yes! For me, the pyramid listed here is simply not as fitting as that of the "original," which "Caramel Oud / كراميل عود | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" definitely orients itself to in my opinion. This slight woodiness that slightly brakes the sweetness, the musk. Somehow, everything is there. For me, the difference lies solely in the overall composition.
1. "Caramel Oud / كراميل عود | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" is more linear than the Trussardi. Considering the price, I would say that this is manageable.
2. "Caramel Oud / كراميل عود | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" is, for me, more floral. A touch more jasmine and tuberose. Otherwise: "Le Vie di Milano - Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II | Trussardi," just somehow as an all-round version. Due to the flowers, I would say this Hanuta dream can also be worn in not too warm summers, but with the nutty aromas, it is also suitable for the cold season. Day and night. For a date, as a cuddly scent. It is somehow airy, so it can even shine in everyday life. An all-rounder indeed.
The fragrance can be worn by anyone who wishes to. I see no clear direction.

Anyone like me looking for "Le Vie di Milano - Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II | Trussardi," but wanting to find something at a low price, could find a great alternative in "Caramel Oud / كراميل عود | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية."

Misleading Name (Trussardi La Vie Di Milano Alternative)
When you read the name "Caramel Oud," you think of an oriental gourmand fragrance.
And that's what I would have expected, but unfortunately, that's not what you get here.
I could have done without the oriental aspect.
I'm not quite comfortable with oud, but I would have looked forward to the caramel.

The fragrance starts with a mix of floral notes and praline.
I'm not exactly sure what smells so floral here.
I can detect jasmine, but there's something that smells like tuberose.
I perceive it this way because it has a somewhat bubblegum-like scent, which I often associate with tuberose.
The fruity notes seem to completely fade away for me.

Even in the dry down, it remains the same-no caramel, no oud, just jasmine and probably gardenia or magnolia.
In the background, there's still an inexplicable sweetness, could be praline, could be hazelnut.
It gives the fragrance a light sweetness, but the floral notes prevent it from ever being too sweet.

Towards the end, I only perceive "tuberose."
It becomes somewhat similar to Oriana or "Love Don't Be Shy (Perfume) | Kilian."

The longevity on my skin was about 7.5 hours, so I would say that's quite okay.
However, I find the projection to be rather weak to moderate.

In conclusion, I can only say that it is definitely a unisex fragrance, but it leans a bit feminine.
Designer quality for a small price, yet nothing new, nothing extraordinary, and nothing I would need in my collection.

Caramel Althair Little Horse
Eagerly anticipating the perfume, I took the time to imagine what it might smell like. Of course, I checked the fragrance notes on Notino beforehand, and I must say, with pineapple, mandarin, and pear in the top notes, one naturally envisions a fresh scent that might also have a slightly sweet aroma in the heart and base notes. I found the perfume for 14.99 and ordered it immediately, after which it was promptly sold out. Excitedly, the perfume arrived earlier than planned. Of all the perfumes I ordered, I only opened this Caramel Oud because the fragrance notes piqued my curiosity. Upon opening the packaging, I took out the bottle with its elegant cap. The perfume was immediately sprayed on my forearm. Now, enough talk, let's get to the scent. Initially, it’s hardly fresh; the scent starts off sweet, but a fresh sweetness, just as I imagined. However, I must say that you can definitely perceive a good dose of caramel. But then, after not even 10 minutes, the scent begins to develop. And I must honestly say, it leans towards Althair. A little horse for 15€, pardon, 14.99 ;-P. The scent lasts 5-6 hours, and close to the skin, unfortunately, only a maximum of 2 hours. But what can you expect from a 14.99 fragrance? You can’t have it all, and that’s a good thing. Still, this scent is worth every cent when you consider how expensive designer fragrances are with poor longevity. Let's set aside the old batches from some designers. The sillage is very strong in the first hour, then it diminishes significantly. But for such an inexpensive fragrance, you can easily spray a few more times without it being a problem. So, grab it if you find the perfume at a good price.

Best regards

Rudi

What a little gem..
Caramel Oud is a truly surprisingly beautiful fragrance, especially for this pleasant price.
The first time I caught a whiff of this scent was in a short clip on YouTube, and I was immediately intrigued. I can honestly say that I am positively surprised and that this fragrance deserves a chance.

The scent starts off sweet for my taste, with a pleasant floral undertone. I perceive something like a kind of praline, something chocolatey, something caramel-like. Overall, it has a nice floral undertone, as mentioned.

In the first few seconds, it even seems a bit tipsy to me. Like a kind of sweet liqueur. However, that fades away quite quickly.

I cannot perceive the pineapple or the mandarin from the fragrance pyramid at any point.
Only the pear actually comes to the forefront.
It appears for me after about 45 minutes (roughly estimated).
However, it is really pleasant and fits perfectly with the floral repertoire and the sweet image of this fragrance.

Towards the end, we have a familiar musk base with creamy sandalwood, a bit of praline, and some amber.

The performance is completely fine. Especially for this great price-performance ratio, you really can't say anything negative in that regard, nor in general. Additionally, the fragrance is super unisex to wear.

I rate the fragrance an 8.
If this absolutely grand first phase with the wonderfully sweet impression lasted longer, I would actually tend towards an 8.5 or even a 9.

Boozy Nougat-Praline
Starts like a cognac praline...very boozy...nutty...then the sweet caramel joins in. After a few seconds, the alcohol settles and it becomes warm-chocolatey, milky-creamy, slightly woody-floral, vanilla-like. I like the nutty-lactonic aspect. The sweet caramel remains as well. This is a perfume that needs to "mature" before you can truly appreciate it. Therefore, the first impression can be a bit confusing. However, the performance could be a bit stronger...otherwise, it's a really beautiful gourmand. Very unique. I'm excited to have it in my collection...awesome.

Great gourmand. Creamy caramel with a hint of fine flowers. I don't perceive the oud. Deserves much more attention.

For me, it's clear: "Le Vie di Milano - Passeggiata in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II | Trussardi", somehow lighter. But genius. I'm taking it!
