Creamy Tonka and Jammy Fruits
The packaging is gorgeous, and the triangle bottle is cute and unique but not too difficult to use. The cap is magnetic too.
I get a lot of pure, high quality tonka right off the bat, and then jammy sweetness from the fig and cherry in this scent. You must be a tonka lover to like this. This is NOT a photorealistic gourmand or sugary-sweet, it’s definitely a more perfume-y and blended interpretation of the notes. It’s smoother and deeper than a department store designer perfume, definitely niche quality and very sophisticated. It’s still sweet, but more of a stewed fig and preserved cherry kind of sweetness. The caramel note is not plasticy or artificial. The tea is present on the drydown, not very strong or herby but adds a bit of earthiness and pairs well with the woody sandalwood base. This perfume is chic, but still sweet and cozy.
My overall impression of this scent is a creamy tonka caramel poured over warm figs and cherries, with a cup of black tea on the side. Longevity and strength are both moderate and could be better, but I’m glad this isn’t headache inducing and I do get a nice scent bubble for about 3-4 hours.
