For Gentlemen
Gentleman scents are always my "thing". The intention that drives the perfumer here is clearly set and usually follows a classic inspired path Classic attributes, as the name Gentleman already suggests. This was one of the reasons why I ordered Stéphanie's Pour Homme Box. Men's fragrances, created by a classically trained perfumer, sounded exciting.
And Stéphanie does everything right for me with "My Gentleman". The fragrance is controlled and very distinguished. It keeps the citric in check from the beginning and acts with a self-contained overall scent. Neither citric, nor spicy herbaceousness, nor the resins stand out. All fragrance components are so well blended, that the warmth of the cistus and the woods is permanently present, while leaving enough room for the spice of tarragon, as well as for the minimal barbershop aura of the lavender.
I was pleased to see that the mint here carries the fragrance especially in the direction of the citrus-fresh aspects.
Because of this I would also like to attribute the fragrance to a more mature clientele. This is not necessarily determined by years of life, but probably by attitude.
With "My Gentleman" you are always well dressed.
It is calm, distinguished and yet very present.
