Leathery Ballet
Dégagé is a term used in Ballet to describe pointing the foot to an open position with an arched instep slightly off the floor. I can see how this fragrance ends with Ballet but I am not sure where it is starting. This is a sweet citrus and resin scent that is almost leathery. Like someone is wearing leather pants while working in a citrus grove and the leather has absorbed a bunch of the oils. Slowly the scent develops into a freshly powdered ballerina sitting on a plush velvet couch. There is almost a hint of rose on her.
This fragrance does have some aromatic qualities but mainly it sits close to the skin. The fragrance did last about 6 hours on my skin. There are two sizes available starting at 9ml for $35 and 50ml for $130. It feels like at the beginning we are playing with something bright and heavy and latter its just sweet and powdery. Not sure who this is for.
